I tried to ask on ME3 twitter...

Does anyone know how long the Protheans fought the Reapers? Or how long into the war Javik was born? He mentions how the Citadel was pretty much a legend by the time he was born, right? Something like that either way.

I think they spent centuries fighting reapers, after all Javik mentions how longer their war was compared to the current cycle: they sacrificed planets and other planets at the point he admits he saw 'worse' things than Thessia.

So... If the Protheans lived for a very long time, one would think at least a few Protheans who had visited the Citadel would've still been around in Javik's time. Unless they all got killed before they could share the experience...

Considering how they were under reapers's direct attack both options seem rather plausible...

Yes... Hmm. I was just hoping that puzzling together stuff we learned from the game could give us at least a guess at the life span of a Prothean, even if it'd be really vague.

Oh well. We can always pester them on Twitter, lol

Well... if I remember it correctly, he mentions that the last Protheans who'd visited the Citadel were dead by the time of his birth. But they did have those memory shards. It's likely that most, if not all, Protheans (or warriors, at least) had a shard formerly in possession of someone who had visited the Citadel. Or just some of them.

Also, it somehow seems to me that the war lasted around two or three centuries, and that Protheans could've lived about 100-150 years. I can't really ground my opinion with quotes, so let's call it a wild guess, but it just felt that way.

And yeah remember he didnt know about Ilos and what was going on there. Of course I am left with the impression those scienctist woke up after the VI determined the Reapers probably had left the galaxy again.

That's what I was trying to get at. I'd place their age around a couple of centuries or so. Again, it's just a guess.

^ And yes, the VI on Ilos only woke the scientists once it was clear that the Reapers had left. Don't know how it determined that, though.

I keep wanting to boot up my copy of ME3 on PC to take some screenshots of Javik in my blue armor mod. But... procrastination... laziness... life. I'll work on it.

^ Think it's true? I mean, Resurgence ended up being true so it's a possibility...

I know MP doesn't strictly follow ME lore but Javik must of gotten jiggy to create a lot of Protheans. Or he cloned himself to recreate the Empire. xD

If this is true, think we'll get Collectors?

More likely, they found new stasis bunkers with prothean survivors.

I don't think they'll follow the lore for MP.

And I hope they won't, I want to see hanar and volus there.

This would get me to dust of ME3, I like the ME series in general but ME3 ending has left me not really wanting to touch the game. I am sure ill touch it again once the extended endings release but I have my first save for that lol.

But I must know more info on this DLC lol

I heard about that MP rumor. If it's true and we get to rock the Protheans in MP... I'll be indescribably happy.

I wasn't replying to anyone, I was just baiting to see if anyone in Enkindler Central is a Protomen fan.
