It's a good image, but I wouldn't call it realistic - he's way too shiny.

Wow, BSN really hates me.  I've tried quite a few times to post images, but...
Anyway, I think the pic looks pretty good. The Protheans are an insectoid race, and their shells/exoskeletons should reflect such.

No, they're mammalian. They also have skin, not exoskeleton. They're only depicted with exoskeleton in fanart.

EDIT: Found mah proof.

Nope.  The Mass Effect Wiki states that they have a carapace.  No mammal could do that.  Also, if he were a mammal, he would need to have hair or at least hair folicles somewhere.

Which is not written by the official writers, and therefore counts as fan extrapolation.

They most likely have hair follicles since the asari have them as well in spite of being a "hairless" species.

There is nothing to suggest that protheans are insectoid other than what you find in fanart.

Collectors and Protheans can be story canon guys if you think about it. Look at it from another point of view which is this one. If they didnt send off those warnings we received or reprogrammed the Keepers we wouldve already lost our chance to fight back in this war against the Reapers. 50k years ago the Protheans made it possible for us to fight against the Reapers on equal ground. So in otherwords they can be added to MP Co-Op without breaking the Story logic.

Not really, and here's why:

1) The Ilos people were just 12 individuals, meaning they did not have a sustainable population = even though they survived the Reaper invasion, they were incapable of rebuilding their species. Q.E.D, they would have eventually died out.
2) These 12 stooges went to the Citadel and likely starved to death after altering the Keepers.
3) They were not soldiers.

Of course, there could be other prothean cryo bunkers elsewhere, perhaps tapping into geothermal energy sources = no power shortage = full numbers. The question is, however, if living protheans exist, why haven't these protheans woken up yet? Are they hiding? Are they stranded? Did they just give up and decide to live like primitives to elude the Reapers (oh the irony)?

Ultimately, if BioWare wants living protheans to happen, they can make it happen. People will whine about it, but that's what they do. The first 80 pages of this very thread is quite telling what people thought about the prospect of a prothean squadmate before the game was released.

Point but i was trying to figure a viable way they could be added to MP, I want Dark Channel added to MP but rather see it added with a Prothean than on any ol' character lol. Just trying to think of a viable way they could be added without breaking Lore logic.

I got a very touching scene where he is wounded with Garrus during the beam run and practically begs Shepard to let him continue fight alongside her, and she just tells him that she wants at least someone to come out of it alive. He is then dragged, pretty much against his will, into the Normandy as it leaves Shepard behind.

I know its the same for all squadmates, but it was definitely one of the highlights of the EC for me.

I sadly didn't experience this first-hand as I brought both my LI (Kaidan) and Javik. However, it somehow made me really proud to see Javik patiently holding Kaidan up while we said our goodbyes. Like he's really a part of the Normandy family now. Touching.

Anyway I found a YouTube clip of the Javik evac scene.

Interesting how... emotional he seems.
I'd prefer Femshep but this is what I got. I'll play for myself eventually.

Edit: Ugh BSN won't let me make clickable links, sorry about that. :(

Niiiice. I wasn't sure if they booked Ike Amadi (Javik) back for a VO session, but I'm glad they did... if only for a few lines.
Also, I found out he voiced the Urgost in War in the North. Take a listen.

I got that same scene but with Liara instead of Kaidan lol. I liked almost everything that was added, just disgrunted that the EC wasnt original on the Disc when the game released.

I finally heard Javik say to Jack that he is 50,000 years older than her in my playthrough.

Here's a FemShep version of the final goodbye with Javik. Both dialogue versions shown.

I have mixed feelings because this was his ultimate goal and Shepard basically sidelined him at the last moment. Understandable though. It just feels that he should be the exception to the rule, y'know?

I'm just going to casually share these here. Worked on these between drawings of rainbow light aliens and funny animal people. I have one other-ish (just a sketch), but I won't post it as it's vaguely M!Shep/Javik-related. =V

Ah i forgot to tell.

My Shepard didn't romance anyone and at the end When My shepard about to die by choosing Control Ending, Javik and Thane picture shown to me.

and when in the Memorial Wall scene, Garrus is the one who hold Shepard's name

so my best friends are Aliens after all (All cool in my book).

As i though that javik is only trolling, he is Good guy after all

anything not in the nonspoiler section can be considered legal spoilers on this forum. I believe you get in trouble for posting spoilers in the nonspoilers section

I agree with you 100 percent.   It is understandable, but it showed a deeper bond between Javik and Shepard which I think should have been explored more.

I would pay more for more Javikl  content, or if Javik was in Mass Effect 4. :)
