So many funny tie-ins.

What was the name of the machine race the Protheans wiped out by making their sun go supernova?

Perhaps the beacon was referring to these creatures?

Considering the Adjuntants or whatever they are called (the guys in the pic) were created by Cerberus, I highly doubt it.

Zha'Til. Theyre were machine like symbionts created by the Zha, and the reapers turned them against the Zha. Infection was so severe that apparently the Protheans destroyed them both by making their sun go to supernova.

Following is only my theory:

Their home star might have been relatively close to Haestrum, which would explain why there is some fall out damage to surrounding stars from whatever weapon the protheans used so long ago.

I wonder what the squadmate would look like.

Prothean squadmate would totally win and who should voice it?

I'd go with one of these:

Peter Mensah

Leonard Nimoy

Laurence Fishburne

With Prothy, i just hope he isnt like Legion and can talk normal.

If he can, and he is likeable then sure, come at me Prothy!

If you don't have a problem with him being somewhat of an arrogant douche who sees all other species as inferior, you'll like him just fine.

Which is a nice contrast to everything else. Not a xenophobe, but not someone that loves everyone either.

Indeed. I should also clarify that his views on other species doesn't really stem from being a mean ****** (not entirely), but because he's from a time when those species were still cavemen. Or cavewomen, in the case of the asari.

How quaint, the former cavedweller understands how difficult it is to take beings who communicate primarily with grunts and groans seriously. The crude idols and frantic reverence for artificial light was an especially nice touch.

Just thinking about this early, but any mention in the leaks whether or not Shepard encounters the Collectors again in ME3? One would think that would be an interesting conversation to have with the Prothean if we did.

Clearly, gendered bathrooms are too mainstream primitive.

Come on now, the water in both bathroom's toilets have such tales to tell.  They would be the most interesting place on the ship for prothy next to the water cooler!

I'd kill to have John De Lancie voice him.

guess those "I love yous." in my rivalrymance game were my imagination. =] Especially that "I want you right here UNTIL THE DAY WE DIE!" terribad line my Hawke had to say to progress the romance.

Seriously though they don't hate each other. Not completely. Just sometimes. And according to Anders those sometimes are in the day while Hawke's all loving and passionate at night.

Fenris and Anders hate each other. ;)
