^His snark is the best, and so is his ability to troll face.
I was wondering if there was a Javik thread, looks like I found it:D.  Recently I've been obsessing over shavik and thought I would share some things I've done related to it.

A series of one shots here (tragic fluff): Prisoners of War's Design. And a complement video tribute that goes along with it: Mercy Shepard Tribute - World on Fire

And a pic of my femshep that I ship with Javik:

I guess I can obnoxiously point out that the most recent chapter of my fanfic (linked in my sig below) has a lot of Javik content.

I'm reading your fics. All of them. Because protheans. But yeah, I love Javik just for the grouch. He makes everything bitterer and therefore better.

Rannoch

Oh, what does Javik say on Rannoch? I've always brought Garrus to that one, but if Javik has some good lines, I may change that.

Probably something extremely cute about how foolish and primitive the quarians and geth are.

No but seriously, beats me. It was ages since I played Rannoch, or hell, SP itself aside from the EC.

To be honest, once Javik was on my Normandy (in the first hour of play after Mars, ehehe) he went on every single mission with me. Each one. The other teammate was fluid, shifting, changing, but always, always Javik, first pick. He's just too epic to not. I love how all the NPCs react (Kirrahe, oh my lawls!) and how deadpan he is about being nonplussed by us.

...If he was a potential LI, I'd'a been aaaaall over that. He manages to be unique and exotic and fascinating, and at the same time...so sullen and SAD sometimes that I just want to hug him until all the bad memories go away.

...He'd probably just throw me out the airlock though. XD

EDIT: Also, that quote about making love was too good to pass up. I tweaked it (making love -->romance) and made a Javki banner for it. XD On rotation in my sig. I hope that's okay, I just got such a chuckle outta it!

@SparrowBird: How can BioWare expect to throw a pivotal character with a rich background, strong personality-not to mention that deep voice- who provides lots of amazing snark, and not expect people to want him for a LI? I swear they seeded hints throughout the game towards the possibility. I crack up at the citadel scene whenever Shep tells bystanders, "You've never seen him angry" and Javik replies, "Neither have you commander." And she gives him that creepy smile.

I also appreciate the role he plays, the one Shep comes to with all of the tough questions when she doesn't need friendship or pity, but support to rekindle her resolve in fighting the reapers. He's also a mirror of Shepard since he used to be a commander of his own crew, and the renegade Shepard of his cycle. I find it interesting that full renegade Shep seems to be more pessimistic than Javik and it appears to bother the prothean.

Also, love the sig:wub:

°o︿o° He's really a very interesting character. For 'just' DLC he's very deep. There were plenty enough hints to it being an option, yeah, then suddenly "If you want a new bondmate look elsewhere!" and all our dreams are crushed. Still.

My shep was a paragon (can't bring myself to be mean to anyone even in a video game, sheesh) and it was interesting trying to kind of fish him outta the puddle of...not depression, but discontent he hovers in through most of the game. When he wanted to check out the memory shard, I promptly threw it out the airlock. I would have liked to see in the EC a still of him...doing something. On the Citadel, or some planet, stoically overseeing something. Or being harassed by Hanar. I could just see the line for book autographs. All Hanar, all the time. Poor Javik. XD

Paragon's and Javik are like oil and water, they don't agree on anything and seem to annoy each other. Shep's optimism must look extremely naive to him after seeing the corruption the reapers can cause after centuries. It is interesting how he stops and thinks after her paragon comments sometimes, such as the 'weak should be protected' speech, things that go against the laws his civilization thrived on.

For my renegon, the relationship felt balanced. Whenever Javik seemed to be spiraling into despair about his dead race, my shep would remind him that his continued existence is a victory in itself. Then whenever she started feeling pessimistic about the war, Javik would tell her she has a better chance of defeating the reapers than his people ever did, reminding her there is hope. He also seems to admire the determination of a renegade. In the very last conversation with him before the beam run shep tells him "I'll do whatever it takes." And he replies with his classic teaser, "It's too bad we didn't know each other in my cycle." Why, BioWare, why! You're killing me here.

I don't know why he's a DLC character when he seems so pivotal to the story line. I feel sorry for people who don't have him in their game.

The Hanar would probably drive him mad :P. I find it weird that the cameo squaddies get slides but the current ones don't.

Javik was made DLC as a money grab, it seems to me. He's such a well-developed character, with as much or more content than many of the non-DLC crew, and was available for purchase pretty much on release day, right? Sounds like EA just said "yeah, take this guy out and sell him separately."

^Unfortunately, that's a pretty accurate guess. EA has like a Midas Touch of S**t, everything they touch is completely ruined.

That's fine, Javik. We know we're primitives, you know we're primitives...probably have no manners at all. So of course you'll excuse us for staring wistfully with no restraint at you. I mean, you ARE a superior being, right? :P

Yesss. That page. I just got a tumblr like three days ago and I don't understand it yet (primitive communications tech, to the airlock with it, etc. etc.) but I've swiftly clamped onto a good few people that post Javik-centric things.

They probably just think I'm some creeper though. Oh wells.

I'll just let you know, I post A LOT of the stuff(I made those, I'm very Javik centric) and if you haven't seen the current shenanigans going on there right now... I'm busy having an RP war with Javik and a drunk Shepard

So noted. I enjoy watching all the random banter and fun time. Makes me feel happy inside, knowing I'm not alone in my love of inane Mass Effect feels and stuff.

Also I don't know how to comment back on things what is happening I don't understand do I just reblog to 'reply' to things GUH. *flails pathetically*

@McDirod: I really like the blog and random banter is always fun.

While on the topic of strange Citadel happenings I found this in my folder. I'm not really sure if it's the pairing or my femshep I'm obsessing over here. They're both awesome in their own right, but together...
