^"So this is what you primitives call 'looking at the sunset together'?"
"Yes, Javik."
"I like it."

On Eden Prime, for 50,000 years.

Or was it really only a few minutes? Huh? Huh?

...Really though, I desire more foot traffic in this thread. Who wouldn't like Javik, after all?

This thread had a lot more traffic pre-release. Not sure where it all went.

The General Forum, to Ending and "Synthesis is bad and wrong - Badong"-threads.

Also, a bunch of the old regulars like Admiral Cheez and Nissun have left. Or well, Nissun can regularly be found in the MP forum, but whatever.

I miss those days; back when Javik was known as "Prothy".

^Those were the days my friend. We thought they'd never end.
We'd sing and dance forever and a day. We'd live the life we choose.
We'd fight and never lose, for we were young and sure to have our way.
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days.

Indeed. Prothy the Prothean. That's what everyone called him, especially after that script leak.

So, if the Salarians could clone that Kakliosaur fossil and create an army of dinosaur mounts...

Would it be possible to create opposite sex clones of Javik, so both Shepard and he can each have their cabal of hot Prothean cheerleaders?

Yeah, I know, I was the one who started it. In the E3 2011 thread, I believe.

Well, if they have an artificial womb, the knowledge of how to make eggs out of male cells and some sort of futuristic phlebotinum to randomize genes, then sure.

I'm just going to grab the word parnaps and throw it back out there that it's a term the Prothean's used to reffer to people's junk.
Cause to me, thats how it sounds

Next convention the writers appear at for Q&A, that should be a question of priority. "What is a parnap? Are parnaps junk?"

Maintain a serious face at all costs.

Really? To me it sounds like some kind of gland in the knee.

No joke.

Im late to this thread, but i will say one thing that is i found Javik to be one of the most interesting and therefore the best character in this series. Finally a character with his own morals, personality, ideology and one who doesnt hero worship.

And that's why we love him so much.

Its sad that bioware rarely does characters who do not hero worship you, who have their own morals and idealogies. Uniqueness and differances make something interesting. I might hate a characters viewpoints, but if he is unique atleast he is interesting. Characters like Garrus, Liara and Tali sort of do nothing for me as they all yes men type characters.
With Javik i expect him to attack shepard if shep does something to destroy the war effort. He doesnt but i know if pushed into a situation like that he will do it and that my friends is interesting.

That is one of the things DA2 did right (amongst little else!). I like the way your companions with you react to your comments & decisions. ME didnt have anywhere near such a dynamic trust system (either do the loyalty missions or not in ME2)

Yup DA2 had its faults, but i generally got a few replays out of it. The characters had their own faults and flaws and i liked that. Though the friendship rivalry system could use a bit more work.

I'm just bummed out ME3 didn't have an approval system. Would have loved to see some "Javik disapproves -10". Especially given how similar he is to Sten.

Sten was always my second team member to hit 100, after Morrigan, so I can see myself getting Javik's approval up easily enough.

EDI would probably be the only one I'd have trouble with.

How many Lothering babies did you have to eat to get her to 100 that fast? 42?

I know for a fact that eating 42 salarian hatchlings nets exactly 100 approval points with Javik.

Well, I usually bone her, which is worth a fair number of points and something I can't do for Sten. Also, gifts.

But yeah, between all the salarians I eat (quite the delicacy) and synthetics I crush, Javik would reach 100 fast.
