Well, I usually bone her, which is worth a fair number of points and something I can't do for Sten. Also, gifts.

But yeah, between all the salarians I eat (quite the delicacy) and synthetics I crush, Javik would reach 100 fast.

Aaaaaaand now I am, for some reason, envisioning Javik in this scene in place of Michael Bolton, replacing the printer with a geth platform.

Its sad that bioware rarely does characters who do not hero worship you, who have their own morals and idealogies. Uniqueness and differances make something interesting. I might hate a characters viewpoints, but if he is unique atleast he is interesting. Characters like Garrus, Liara and Tali sort of do nothing for me as they all yes men type characters.
With Javik i expect him to attack shepard if shep does something to destroy the war effort. He doesnt but i know if pushed into a situation like that he will do it and that my friends is interesting.

So true, even the small characters seem to hero worship and fall to Shepard's knees. The only opposition Shep seems to have among allies, other than the bad cop council, is certain aliens in ME2 if the council was sacrificed. I understand some of the characters like Garrus being a yes man since Shep is his mentor and moral compass in ME1, but I would expect him to develop some of his own views by ME3. It's a bit sad to see him brush everything off. If the genophage was sabotaged he simply says, 'damned war'. I would expect a berating or a bit of yelling.

I love how with Javik you can argue the extremes of war, what can be sacrificed and what moral grounds can be broken. Not to mention question the beliefs his civilization was founded on. It's so much more interesting when characters don't agree and argue back and forth with Shep, both defending their view points while still respecting each other.

I also really liked the rival bar in DA2, especially the ability to rivalmance. Things always got a lot more...heated

^Made doubly funny by the fact that Shep is wearing the Collector armor in that image.

So with the unveiling of the above, I guess it's safe* to share this with fellow Shavik fans:

And it is an interpretation of this classical artpiece by William-Adolphe Bouguereau :

*/ Linked instead of posted directly because of "ZOMG Shepard has a nipple!"

Oh and yes, Javik's wings are a bit Collector-styled. And I decided on no carapace on his skin, instead I based Javik's torso heavily on the concept art found in "Art of Mass Effect Universe" book.

Someone should totally do an interpretation of Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam" with Javik in place of God and either Shepard or a hanar in place of Adam.

Well a Hanar will surely look weird.

Can't wait to see his interactions in the next DLC. His disgust for the asari and his views on criminality should make for a fun conversation with Aria.

I wonder how Javik would react to Control or synthesis

Well I've played through Leviathan and Javik had some great dialogue. I actually enjoyed the DLC overall.

*Tiny spoiler*
I shivered a little when Javik whispered about the miners should be panicked, on the asteroid level.

@Arcian - has there been any mention on the next DLC?

Still kind of growing on me as a squadmate, but his "Primitives!" and "airlock" memes are the stuff of legend.

Nothing official, but leaked files suggest Retake Omega DLC.

I think he'd be pissed that the Reapers are allowed to go unpunished, but at the same time he would be happy that the war is over.

I'm under impression that Javik wouldn't like to see that Reapers are still alive. He encouraged destroying the Reapers like no one else. I know there weren't other options at the time, but he was clear about it. He wanted vengeance on Reapers, not making friends with them.

He's one of my favourite characters, even tough my canon Shep does not always agree with him. :)
