CE will include the Prothean, right?
I think he'll be like Zaeed and be included in new copies of the game.

If the rest of the empire suffered a similar fate, I doubt there are any Protheans left.

About prothy after the escape from earth does Shepard head straight to the martian ruins on mars where he finds him?
Nope.
It happens about mid-game.
On a more familiar planet.

I guess they're just giving you the option so it feels a bit authentic. Sort of like Arrival's bad ending, which happens if you let the time run out.
You wouldn't do it, but it's neat to have the option.

He's supposedly a free DLC for new copies, and you can kill Zaeed on his loyalty mission as well.

Plus, well, that'd mean another squadmate, and that's gravy on top of the prothatoes.

Because my best friend likes the series and wants to play Me3 but he doesnt have xbox live, so he misses part of the total experience(he lives in a poorer section of my country with no real home internet connection). Not all people have xbox live and will get dlc.

I hope he ends up mandatory. I don't know much about him (or indeed the game in general compared with most of you) but it is my understanding he's simply too damned important to the main plot arc to be DLC. I know the DLC goof is what got folks like Arcian and (mostly) myself fairly well convinced from the get-go that he was in the game, but it just sounds like he's too freaking relevant.
Plus, well, that'd mean another squadmate, and that's gravy on top of the prothatoes.
Actually, he has very little relevance to the plot. After all, the story goes on without consequences if he dies during the recruiting.
The best you'll get out of him when it comes to the overall mission is another squadmate to put on repair duty a la the pipes on the suicide mission in ME2.
He's a very interesting character, but the plot can live and flourish without him. Even the *spoiler*other Prothean VI merely acknowledges his existence and then moves on.*spoiler*
Makes sense that he's a DLC character.

For all we know his stasis pod might have been stored on a object going near the speed of light and managed to get close enough to something to slow it down, or the entire thing was constructed near a Black Hole?
Personally, I'm still at loss how we could go to a space station hiding in the Accretion Disk of the Milky Way's Supermassive Black hole without suffering any sort of Time Dilation in ME 2.

That was not the supermassive black hole, just a regular one. Remember that those things are supposedly everywhere in the galactic core.raist747 wrote...

Plus, the zone around the CB is covered in mass effect fields and radiation shields, which is why they can survive without ill effects like radiation death or time dilation. Realistic? Nope, but it's an acceptable break from reality.
Also, the whole thing was a reference to the final episode of the reimagined Battlestar Galactica.
