At least Prothy will be interesting judging from Arcian's post.

Like EDI? Or Legion? Or the Reapers?Someone With Mass wrote...
Well, for one, the VI's technical purpose would be kind of pointless if it only exists to tell about the story of the Protheans in detail and be snarky/arrogant at the same time. There's really no reason to have such a thing when there are other machines that have and can tell such facts without getting a personality in the way.
There was no such thing as an awesome Prothean in the previous games either. How about some awesome Batarian?
There's no such thing.

It's a little hard for me to be racist against a race that doesn't exist.

I'm thinking the same thing. It looks like a Turian with an extra set of eyes and an aura. No tentacle-mouth or rounded head like the statues that depict them.
Kind of a false label.

I agree with you that it look like a Turian, but our squadmate doesn't have to be the same as the statues on Ilos. The leak explains why his aspect could be different than the statues on Ilos.

Well, they could still resemble the statues at Ilos as fit the characteristics fron the script. It could be a middle ground between the statues and the collectors. Like that fan art, but with a Cthulhu mouth. I'm sure that they would keep the only living Prothean in the trilogy as close to being recognizable as possible, while still taking hefty artistic liberties in giving it more bug-like features and still making it unique.
What makes you so sure? Is there a part within the script that specifically states that he bares no semblance to the Ilos statues?hhh89 wrote...

The fact is that if our Prothean isn't like the statues on Ilos, it's unlikely that he'll share some similarities with the statues. He'll be SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
A Prothean, but from a different race than the Protheans on Ilos. They could share some similarities (like the Asari and the Humans) but I don't know if Bioware went in that route.

We were the dominant race of our cycle. We were the rulers of the galaxy.
-My studies indicated you were the only race engaged in space-travel at the time. I always found that curious.
We were one empire composed of many subjects. All eventually called themselves "Prothean".
-They weren't given a choice.
Any could oppose us if they wished. And had they won, they would have ruled. Many tried. None succeeded.
-I had no idea Protheans were so..severe.
It was by necessity. Very early we encountered the dangers posed by machine intelligence. They rebelled against us.
The machines' strength lies in their intelligence. We decided the only way to survive was to surpass their evolution with our own.
In time, we united all organic life within our empire. Every race contributed in the struggle against the machines.

@Guyz who Talk about Prothys looks - he can be whatever they want. But i can bet on him not having those ugly tentacles like the statues from Ilos.
Why? Tentacles dont cope well with his character
