They took an awfully big risk with Jack in ME2, I think.  And it's not like they aren't doing it to the males (Dat Chin).  But still, it's annoying.

Yeah, a human character. But when it comes to aliens or robots? The "need to be f*ckable" appears to be a must.

The difference with male characters is that the team mostly consist on males. So they say, "we have to design this badass bounty hunter" (for example). They sit down and design a badass bounty hunter. And Zaeed is created. If Zaeed is perceived as attractive by some players, well, that's a bonus. But they didn't have "he needs to be handsome!" in mind.

Honestly I expected EDI to look like a humanised geth, but not to the extent that it is. Still it doesn't bother me so much - it's hardly surprising when looking at the appearance of other (female) characters in the games.

I know, and it really, really annoys me.  But I've already burnt myself out ranting about it.  Obviously, my voice was not heard.

I'll fuss about it again when the game comes out.

I'm digging the design of the Prothean, still cthulian with the double pupil in the larger set of eyes.

The Metropolis look is enough for me to look past the overall figure design for the most part. I think she looks awesome.

As for our ancient renegade hero... he looks particularly awesome.

And before I start getting accusations leveled at me that I'm the reason designers do this, bear in mind I could write a damn final on how much I hate Samara's design and Miranda's ass shots.
