A renegade Prothean? That's interesting, it's not what I would do... But also is something that I didn't expected. I always imagined him as some kind of a "Space Gandalf" (Wise old man with huge knowledge that can kick your ass on the battlefield). On the other hand... I think that my version would end up being a walking cliche [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/lol.png[/smilie]

Realistically he should be half insane, suicidal and extremely pissed off. 
Going by the leak he wants to desperately destroy the Reapers at any cost

I am just wondering if he will call our tech primitive. I remember in republic commando your guy says "Shells? Primitive" and I think an elite says something like that in a halo novel too. I hope for a scene like that

Ooh, I've been gone for the last day, so I guess I missed those. I suppose that's the reason why the thread is so much bigger than last time I was here.

Anyway, I like the fact that he has clothes, and I overall like his look.

Out of curiosity, if these are scans of the art book, do we have scans for the rest of the squadmates too?

I think our tech would be beyond what he is used to. Sovereign didn't get to open the Citadel when he wanted to...I think that would mean that our technology was at least on the level with the Protheans if not more so.

Incorrect - the reason why Sovereign couldn't open the Citadel through normal means was because the Protheans managed to rewrite the Keepers "programming" 50, 000 years ago, which now prevents them from responding to Reaper signals (the technology of the current races had absolutely nothing to do with it).

Well, we have already seen the other squadmates, so there was pretty much just him left.

Yeah...I am correct. He wanted to open it but couldn't. Time passed and he had to find alternate means. Our technology is at least on the same level. It reached the level needed to start an invasion.

Our cycle of species seems to have lost some natural ablities sapient life of the past possesed tough, like reading information form an object by simply touching it. Prothy does this.

Im actually quite surprised how ignorant our cycle is compared to previous ones, they presented themselves to the reapers on a silver platter. Totally had their heads in the sands. Without protheans and Shepards luck being in right place at the right time our cycle would have undermined everything the previous cycles tried to do... and the reapers would continue unchallenged.

Frankly, Im amazed we will be able to beat them at all. Pure luck. Damn. We nearly screwed it all up...Way to go team milky way!

I don't think it's a playable race. I think they are Human, Turian, Quarian, Krogan, Asari, Salarian and Drell (I think).

I think "The Prothean" or "Prothean" will be his name, he's the last of them, he needs to represent them all.

You know, I'd be willing to hazard a guess they took stock footage of the SP for that MP pep-talk thing...like it's a pep talk Shepard is giving to his crew in the SP game. I looked at the trailer again and yup, it's most definitely Prothy. Got the neck and everything.
