I also like the idea that Protheans did manage to survived and just stayed hided all this time and them being in stasis on Mars would make the most sense.

I support this to the fullest of my ability, which is very little in hindsight. Respect goes to the author of the Liara, Prothy, Tali pic. And I fully expect Liara to want to suck his face because he's prothean. I mean, they both have tentacles. >_>
Yeah the only thing that makes not suppose Prothy is I dont want Liara to leave me for him/her lol.

I was reading
the Cerberus Daily news over at Mass Effect Wiki, and there's an entry
from January 10, 2011 that says that there is a newly discovered chamber
in the Prothean ruins on Mars.
http://masseffect.wi..._-_January_2011 (First entry in week 3)
I don't remember seeing this anywhere else in this discussion, and thought it was worth mentioning. . .
"The opening has been a dream of exoarchaeologists for decades, delayed
by the many steps necessary to replicate Prothean code keys and crack
the cryptography for entry. Critics say the Milky Way Foundation, which
provided supercomputers for the cryptanalysis, could hoard any Prothean
discoveries."
If you check out the Milky Way Foundation, you'll notice that it's actually a subgroup to Cerberus.

Haha yeah, the question now is rather where we won't have to face them?

It's actually Miranda. She got to know you have Ash on board and now she'll cut your...desire to know Ash better.

I wonder what kind of tests that the Milky Way Foundation has been running on prothy, if they have actually found him/her, that is. Considering it's Cerberus we're talking about, it can't be good. Or successful, for that matter.
Thanks Captain Obvious.

I think that Prothean NPC should be an old one; sole survivor of the species, awoken and witnessing that the Ilos research team plan was partially succesful.
I made the head bigger than the statues show, to make him different. After all, we can't be sure how protheans looked exactly like.

You know how it goes: Shepard gets a E-mail about some base on some planet doing something prothean related. Shepard arrives and, suprise suprise, finds out that Cerberus has been been cloning prothean/human/geth hybrids to use as supersoldiers. And as usual they forgot to close the cells and ended up eaten by their own experiments. Shepard defeats everybody, finds Prothy, rescues him, blows up the base and takes Prothy on board to join the crew.Get fired up wrote...

Something like this is good enough for me actualy.
Edit: Good drawing above me, it looks like those statues on Illos walking around.

That's really good. You can upload it to the group if you want, we need more prothean artwork in there.stysiaq wrote...
