^Well to be fair, I have no idea what voice would work for Prothy.



It requires a voice filter too, like with we have with Garrus for example.
I guess then it could work with George Takei.

From what I read in the leaks protheans seem to be space qunari.  Prothy, also, was to the leader of a group that was to hibernate in stasis until the next cycle by founding a new prothean empire to combat the reapers when they returned.

I would cream my pants if this were the case, as I loved the sh!t out of the Arishok's voice in DA2. However, maybe they shouldn't start typecasting him as the warrior leader guy who hails from a highly militant species that conquered and converted a number of species to their culture.

Nah i like his accent  the way it is he was great as magneto, and hes Irish not british with a german father.

I've heard this before, but really? He has four eyes and that's it. If he had a pincer-mouth, compound eyes or a proboscis for a mouth, then THAT would be one hell of a bug-like look.

Hmm, of course, now that I think about it... Do you guys think he looks like a collector under that armor? I mean, remember the secondary insect limbs they had in their torso? You guys think Prothy has those?

Go away for awhile and I miss the reveal of the Prothean. I always miss the good stuff. I hope we find out his voice actor soon. Also like his design.

It could work. The character sounds like he's supposed to be sarcastic/funny, so with a voice filter... Maybe.
George Takei can act, he's just kind of ... devolved into camp.

True enough! It's practically the ONLY reason I hate EDI's new body.  Having Tricia Helfer casted as another sexy robot chick is hopefully not the final nail in the typecast coffin for her.

Still I can't get the idea outta my head of Prothy's "calibrations" filler line being: "Panahedan Shepard... I hope you don't die."

You misunderstand, I have nothing but respect for the man, but even his normal voice is extremely... special. I just don't see Prothy having it.

Anyway, I actually hope EDI doesn't look anything like Ms. Helfer. She is pretty, and I love her voice, but I don't see EDI as quite so angular.

 I'd still love to hear either Crispin Freeman or Jamieson Price as the Prothean's voice actor:

Crispin Freeman
 (plays the character Alucard in the Hellsing dub)

Jamieson Price
 (plays LordGenome, the first character that speaks at the current timeline of the video)
