I've heard this before, but really? He has four eyes and that's it. If he had a pincer-mouth, compound eyes or a proboscis for a mouth, then THAT would be one hell of a bug-like look.

Hmm, of course, now that I think about it... Do you guys think he looks like a collector under that armor? I mean, remember the secondary insect limbs they had in their torso? You guys think Prothy has those?

I don't think he does. As I see it, a reasonable way to explain the extra limbs the collectors had is to assume that any collector can be "upgraded" to a collector general if the previous one died, much like any bees can become queens if necessary. If they did not become the general however, their extra limbs will still be there, but useless. I'd suppose that the limbs were added by the reapers to make the collector general more efficient at controlling troop movement. At least, I hope.


Also, I' love having Jamieson Price VA Prothy. Not only does his voice fit the role perfectly, but to be able to listen to Lord goddamn-Genome in ME3 would just be... perfect.

Holy crap, for a moment I thought all threads about Prothy had been deleted or locked (due to somebody necro-ing a six month old thread and not seeing this thread on the first page of the board. I thought the mods were hunting them down or something crazy paranoid like that).

Worst 30 seconds of my life. I didn't know I cared so much about this thread.

Part of the confusion is that the other thread until about 40 minutes ago was in the ME3 general section but then was moved silently by mods.

Yeah I think I saw you post somewhere that theory was outdated but its still awesome. And your probably right, when everyone gets a load of how awesome he is his popularity is gonna multiply by a thousand

Me too, the voice sounds just perfect for how I imagined the character. My imaginings were based on the tiny bit of information I know and a few bits of dialogue I saw written on here. But still, perfect voice.

Just wondering, but are there more juicy details on Prothy aside from what I saw on the first page of the thread? I've been away from BSN for a while and am still catching up. I get the feeling there are, and I've tried hunting for them...but...99 pages.

**spoilers for anyone who wishes not to see squad powers**

I wonder what Prothy's last power will be. We already know that he has Slam, Reave, and Biotic Focus. My belief is that he'll either be given Cluster Grenade, Throw, Shockwave, or some sort of ammo power, maybe Shredder Ammo to keep up with his "ME2 bonus powers" motif.

Wow, those are the two best biotic powers, imo, other than Shockwave, so if he has that too, he'd never be leaving my party. I imagine they'd probably balance it with something like an ammo power or the grenade though. Of course, I'm forgetting what powers Liara has, as the other team biotic (aside from potentially Kaidan).
