So this might be a stupid question but I just can't figure it out:

I understand how to disarm traps once they have been detected but for some reason my rogue never detects that there are traps nearby. I know I am high enough on the talent related to disarming traps so I don't understand what's happening.

I first started playing on my friend's xbox and the rogue always anounced "there's a trap." That never happens to me on the pc version and I don't know there's a trap until I step on it.

Is there a setting on the game that has possibly turned off this function? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Even with the correct talent, your cunning may not be high enough to detect the traps. What is your cunning and what level is your character? Are the other rogues in the part able to disarm the traps? You may also just have the audio turned off so you don't hear your character say anything.

Also, please see the read first post. If the ability really is failing to trigger properly then the most likely explanation is a mod causing issues.
