I have had the Talisan part, turned the earring down and went back to camp. When I try to talk to Zev, he says he wants to ask me a question, then it just shows us standing there! I can never get him to say anything. Please help! Thanks.

Something is clearly bugged, but without more information it is going to be difficult to diagnose. See the read first thread pinned to the top first. My best guess with no information is that a mod is causing something to misfire.

Here's what info I have. I installed the DA:O ultimate edition. My hardware is fine. I have asked for updates with the game but I get a message saying I'm up to date. I have NO mods at all. I'm playing a female city elf. I can't think of anything to add. Thanks for your time !!

I actually do request the information in the read first thread for a reason. This game can be extraordinarily finicky about hardware the hardware drivers. Odd conversation glitches have been caused by sound card issues before. It is the fastest and easiest place to begin ruling things out.

While you are getting that information, what approval level is Zevran at? There are ahost of dialog bugs in the Zevran romance (and the rest of the game). Once this issue is resolved, you might want to think about using the ZDF mod (used to be Zevran dialogue fix but it now fixes over a hundred dialogue and plot flag bugs) that is listed on the first page of the community fixit project thread.

I checked my sound card, it's fine. Zevran is at +95(adore). I will try the ZDF mod. Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!
