So I've just gotten back into DA2 again thanks to Legacy and have a couple playthroughs on the go but something always bugs me at the end of Act 2. When chatting with the Arishock in the Keep, there are about 3 models of NPC that are just re-used over and over for everyone in the room.

A minor thing really, but I feel as if it needs to be fixed and for their not to be a room full of identical twins who all turned up in the exact same outfit. Oh, and while I'm at it, is it possible to fix those lo-res folks who are just standing about on the streets?

Thanks

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed! I suppose Kirkwall's like Wolf Lake: known for it's triplet and twin population. (Wow...did not thing I'd be bringing a Lou Diamond Phillips show into the DA forums...this is what happens when I get punchy.)

Anyway, I'd definitely support a mod like this. It happened in Origins, too (guy with the orange handlebar mustache popped up all over the place), and it always took me a wee bit out of the game then, too.

There is a mod on Nexus which swaps NPC outfits to companions armour. http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=2891

I'd prefer something which gives NPCs some diversity but keeps them out of Isabella's wardrobe.

For me at least, it's their faces more than their wardrobes that I notice. I also have a feeling (being horribly unfamiliar with modding to make this more than a guess), that diversifying the faces would be somewhat harder to do.
