Sephiroth - didn't realize it before but after reading about it, I realized he always holds his katana in his left hand when using one hand.

I didn't realize Sheva was left-handed, I just only ever played her because she's, well, female.

Link from EVERY Zelda was a leftie.  Well, Twilight Princess for the Wii they mirrored everything as a cheap way to make a Link a righty and the upcoming Skyward Sword are the only two exceptions.

I jumped into this thread thinking the OP was asking for left-handed stick configuration and controls., a suggestion I would have supported. Well I guess it was too good to be true.

Is that big of a deal to understand Shepard is right-handed? End of problem.

You can't really tell that there are more left-handed, it's most likely that the census are more accurate, and let's not forget that a lot of children were taught to use their right hand because being a leftie was bad until quite recently (and would declare themself righties after that).

I'm left-handed, but I've never even thought about Shep's handedness. While I do occasionally feel a bit marginalized when I try and fail to use right-handed scissors, or play PC games with no left-handed configuration, I don't really feel that the handedness of game characters is an essential character trait. Making the controls accessible seems much more important to me.

Seriously? There are dozens of RPGs out there, NONE of them having as many complainers as ME3, and you had to bring up an additional argument pool on THESE boards?

That's the kind of attribute that doesn't really count into a character trait. It's physical, in a way; My Shepard may be able to take on fifty enemies at once, I can't. It doesn't break the immersion for me...

Seriously though,I'm lefty and I don't care about this,if the OP was serious at all. I definitely wouldn't mind the option,but they have a lot of other,much more important things to work on.
