 Okay soo i need some help here. I can't decide which of these two for a canon romance. Any thoughts?

Well I personally think Tali has the superior romance subplot over the two games, but many would say Liara because they feel she is being forced on players by BW anyway.

I noticed that actually. It does feel like the devs want players to romance liara. Something tells me she'll be the canon romance for the ME movie

Liara. Tali just has this raving fangirl crush vibe going that i find kinda creepy, rather than endearing.

I thought Liara was sort of the same way in ME1, and I wasn't interested in romancing Liara at all... but LotSB was written a lot better, and actually made me sort of a fan.

 i think so too, personally she is my favorite romance, but bioware definatley wants you to screw an asari

ME will not be a good movie, so no one should care what happens there.

What's stopping you from picking both and see what happens in ME3 or from making two canon playthroughs, if you like both of them?
Do you plan on playing ME3 just one time? That would be sad.

It's like asking what should be your favourite color.

Then I have something for you. I think there is a high posability that Tali's face will be revealed. You want to wait for that?

Lets face it, Tali is loyal, selfless, and smart. That and I can't wait to hear Tali's shock at being picked over an Asari. XP

I honestly don't think Liara is really loyal... obsessive maybe but she seems... there's something seriously wrong with her. Plus if you're talking about a canon play through. The whole chase of the Shadow Broker is over Feron... so maybe she has someone instead of Shepard overall.

Liara is also loyal, selfless, and smart. I have a hard time picking one over the other though, I like them equally.

Yeah, handing Shepard's body over to terrorists instead of the Alliance because she "couldn't let you go" was really selfless.
