Quite unlike the Master Chef, whose face was all over the news.

On a more serious note: I wouldn't mind. The mask adds an air of mystery to the character, which would be removed entirely if you actually got to see her face. Furthermore, most fans would be upset that she doesn't look exactly like they'd imagined her.

well basically they have three moves they can do with tali.

1.) make her a super pretty "star trek" alien, where she's pretty much human except for minor head frills and green skin or something. to appease the talimancers.

2.) they can be realistic about it and follow the lore and make her actually look like a damn alien to appease everyone else.

3.) they can just leave it a mystery and have everyone be a bit annoyed.

so no matter what they do there will be unhappy people.

oh and about masterchief, he was purposely designed that way, he's supposed to be faceless and barely talk since you're supposed to be able to step into his role. giving him a face would make it harder to picture yourself as masterchief. i actually once read a lengthy interview with bungie about how they purposely created masterchief that way.

Master Chief has no personality whatsoever. He says like 5 lines in the entire trilogy? Even though i like the halo series, i never went "Damn, i wish i could see his face", because i simply didn't care.

Tali on the other hand, has a personality, is very likeable, and you sympathize with her (if you like her ofc). Besides, it's not all about Tali, it's about the entire Quarian race too.

no no, i wasn't describing a specific look for tali, i was just describing the type of fan art you commonly see.
its very "star treky" where aliens only have odd colored skin or pointy ears, or a couple head frills or ridges rather than looking completely alien.

honestly, im expecting something like a naavi from them for some reason lol.

and i absolutely dont want tali to look super human either, that'd be boring.

From what we here I am kind of sure they will show her face. And I like option 2(I won't be unhappy with option 1). Nothing says alien face can't be attractive.

Good call, especially because that is exactly how BioWare did it with Tali's romance as well: have the character pull their helmet/visor 'off', while in reality a new one just spawns in their hands.

Also, I don't hope they'll show Tali's face just like that.

Show what quarians look like not main characters though? maybe if you helped the quarians and the geth live in harmony on there home planet you can see them without helmets.....

Between her silhouette and what was described in Ascension, Quarians are pretty close to being Star Trek aliens. So long as we see Tali's face and she isn't a space elf, I'll be happy.

There's almost nothing they could do that would make me disappointed or surprise me. And being me, its possible I'd think she looked pretty just because she's an alien.
