          My son is at a point in the game that is further along than myself. He completed the Urn of Sacred Ashes questline and now in The Arl of Redcliffe quest it says to "Use the Urn to heal Arl Eamon". Arl is laying on the bead and wont respond. I read around a bit and it says you need to talk to Teagon. I then found a article/guide thing that shows exactly where Teagan is and he isn't there in my kids game. I also noticed a few posts on sites other than this one having the same problem but no solution.

        I can explain all the details in regards to how he completed that quest if needed. He has the ashes though, the correct ones, and is unable to interact with Arl and Teagan is nowhere to be found. Help would be appreciated.

Teagan isn't in the castle on the main level? That's where he should be.

there was an official post on this particular issue

an official quick fix was released



but the forum got restructured thus you may need to dig deeper for that post

I googled it and even can see the link to the official post. But it's not cached and the description link isn't long enough to get anything useful out of it. Well darn. Thanks for the help anyhow.

I realize I am sort of talking to myself at this point. But in case any lurkers are curious, if you follow the instructions to go into Tactical Command View, you then can interact with Arl.
