That was written in 2010 and is very unofficial. I'd want something more.Anathemic wrote...

There, you people can rejoice now.
Incidentally I seem to remember you complaining about the possible DRM in DA2 so now its OK because its Blizzard?

It's annoying as hell but meh...guess I'll just have to go outside for a walk then. Internet failures in general aren't very common here. It's usually only about the game servers if something happens. Internet connection for single player games is becoming more and more common so might as well suck it up. Altough I'd prefer the offline option. There's a reason why I play single player games on the side of an MMO: sometimes I just want to be LEFT ALONE!
I do hate force-downloading 9GB patches in order to play a game though (that's right Steam, I'm never going to shut up about that). Blizzard likes to release a lot of patches as well so uninstalling a game (say SC2) isn't a very good idea if you have the hard drive space.

Exactly. Lets say Bioware pulled this with Dragon Age Origins. How many pages of EA ARRRGGGGHH would we see?

Agree with first paragraph. You can download a full patch for SC2 at Blizzards ftp site if you don't like patching via auto updater.Milana_Saros wrote...
Online connection seems to be a ****ty trend of today. "Oh yeah WoW maintenance and I go to work at 13:00...hmmm...maybe some SC2...oh shi!!!"

It's true. Only a patch will allow offline play now possibly after their D3 game sales go down.BelgarathMTH wrote...
I probably won't buy the game if
this is true. I have an AT&T DSL that starts blinking in and out
every time there's a thunderstorm within a thirty mile radius. There's a
bad connection day at least once a week or more during the summer.

The difference is with this you buy product and log in and play for free solo or with others and with no subs while EA would sell you the product and then charge you (per second your online).

Spin it however you want but the overwhelming reaction from fans has been negative so far.
I would say thats not true, I went on Diablo forums in Blizzard site and most people were not complaining about it just like here and on other sites there was some people moaning but most of the posters was telling those moaners same as here, if don't like don't buy but most of people posting still want and will still get it.
