On one playthrough of Legacy, I was at the point where a demon is released and defeated, followed by the voice of Malcolm Hawke.  During the short speech, a blue magic aura makes a shift in position away from the cage.  It so happened that Varric was standing at the spot where the blue aura dissipated, and the aura stayed with Varric all the way to the end of the DLC playthrough, eminating out of his body in blue and black whisps of energy..

I was wondering if anyone else experienced this effect on a character or companion and if this aura is significant.  I kept looking to see if it would become relevant, but I may have missed something.  Any thoughts?

On my first palythrough my pc definitely picked up glowing blue eyes somehow. I thought it was pretty slick seeing them through the visor on my helmet. I looked like Anders sans the cracked skin.

Yeah, that happened to Carver in one of my playthroughs. At first I thought it was a sustained ability he was using that somehow never turned off. It's definitely a bug.

For some reason I imagine Malcolm Hawke having this extremely epic beard because of the way he sounds in Legacy due to the demons imitating him.

Too bad Varric didn't talk in that sexy voice afterword, just his normal sexy voice.

The first thing I thought when Carver said "That sounded like father!" was "Malcolm Hawke was James Earl Jones?"

The Hawkes are really Darth's Vader's illegitimate children. Thedas is just the backwards ass planet in the SW galaxy no one talks about. And you thought Force Mage was just a name...
