Seriously, agreed.  Can never understand Tali doing this to a Shepard who she knows is still romantically involved with or cares about a squaddie from ME1.

Garrus I see differently, because Shepard is the one who really needs to flirt with him.

Everybody comes on a tad too strong. Even Thane, in a FemShep playthrough. He calls you Shiha in one or two conversations, even if you take the "not-interested"-dialog path.

I know he does; I haven't romanced anyone in ME2, but I've gotten to know my whole crew as much as possible.  But, actually, I don't mind that Thane does this.  It's a sweet name and it doesn't make any demands of Shepard.  It reflects how he feels about her, not what he asks of her.

In any case, I think Jack and Thane can both be excused for romantic interest in a Shepard who already loves someone from ME1.  Tali and Garrus know the ME1 LI (not, as I say, that I think Garrus crosses the line), and Miranda and Jacob seem reasonably familiar with Shepard's past; rightly or wrongly, I have different expectations from them.

Point taken! Still, I was rather surprised by the "I've been thinking about you." - "I've been thinking about you too."-line. (If you're trying to show that you're not interested, I mean.)

Hmm, I'd forgotten about that!  Well remembered.

Even so, I think that exchange can still work for a Shepard who isn't romancing Thane.  You get to know him very well through his dialogue tree - more than the average squaddie, in my view.  It's not beyond the pale that Shepard would be thinking about him even if she's not romancing him.  He's an intriguing character (or at least I find him so, and enjoy the philosophical side of his conversation tree).
Ultimately, though, you raise a good point.
