"Tali, why are there hundreds of creepy guys waiting for you outside of the Normandy?"
(Sorry Talimancers, I jest)

I wanted to smack the VS for having the nerve to call me a traitor.

Maybe an honest reply to their email?

"Dear Ash/Kaidan,

...

WTF

Love,

Shepard"

But you ARE a traitor, Shepard. Cerberus killed scores of Alliance soldiers, including an Admiral. Working for Cerberus is a betrayal of everything the Alliance stands for. Therefore, you are a traitor the Alliance. I'm pretty sure from an official standpoint, it's straight-up treason. If you can't take the heat, don't join Cerberus. Traitor.

Nah smacking is too crass.

I want "Better to be a traitor and stop the Reapers than a loyal idiot who lets them roll on through."

To make this at least somewhat on topic:

"Kasumi, exactly how did you hear about my romantic interactions?"

Negative. As an Alliance soldier Shepard swore an oath to defend humanity whatever the cost. Entire human colonies were disappearing while the Alliance did nothing about it. Shepard was obligated by his oath to break away from the Alliance and figure out what was going on. And Cerberus was the only organization who was really looking out for humanity. The vs is either too stupid or too blinded to see this.

Tali: You're a sweet kid, but I'm not interested. I mean, listen to yourself, talking like you're gonna risk your life to sleep with your hero. Well, first, I'm not a hero. I'm the big gun the galaxy needs right now to fight the Reapers, but I'm not a hero. I've done some pretty awful stuff in the name of getting the bad guys. Case in point, Cerberus. Second, I don't know what you're thinking sex with me will be like, but it's just sex. It's not some magical romantic achievement that makes you perfect and fulfilled, and it certainly isn't worth a case of space ebola. So get me out of your system however you need to, and go find some guy your age to be young and foolish with. And believe me, I know how much it hurts to be rejected by someone who's telling you it's for the best, but it really is for the best.

Whatever. Sure looks like treason to me. And I think Admiral Kahoku's widow and children would agree with me. Traitor. Guess what? Alliance soldiers pledge an oath to the ALLIANCE, not "humanity". And Shepard didn't really know what the Alliance was or was not doing before she signed on with Cerberus. She didn't talk to anyone IN the Alliance until AFTER she'd already signed on with Cerberus. She's out for two years, and makes a snap decision to work for Cerberus, and the Alliance is just supposed to pat her on the head and send her on her way? I don't think so. She's going to have to answer for that decision, and she'd better be able to PROVE that she was with Cerberus for "the right reasons". The Alliance doesn't give their people nearly as much latitude as some of you seem to believe.

I don't care what the Alliance thinks, they're a bunch of worthless politicians who would let the galaxy be destroyed with their stupidity and naivete. Shepard is out to stop the Reapers, and if he breaks a few laws doing it then so be it. Remember that laws don't mean **** if galactic civilization is wiped out. Cerberus committed a few crimes, and those particular cells paid for them. To deny help from Cerberus when no one else is doing anything about it would be not only incredibly stupid, but I would say treasonous, given Shepard's duties as a Spectre.

Well, if you don't care about the Alliance, then you don't care if they consider you a traitor, now do you? Because you're pretty much a traitor if you sign up with the folks who killed Admiral Kahoku, killed the Alliance Marines on Akuze, killed the Alliance Marines on Edolus, and tortured Corporal Toombs. So yeah, don't get mad at the Alliance, don't get mad at Kaidan, don't get mad at Ashley. Because you ARE a traitor to the Alliance. But like you said, you don't care, so I hope you and Cerberus are very happy together. :wizard:

You know, I don't understand why people get all bent out of shape because Kaishley is upset about you joining up with the people who were kind of running around killing Alliance admirals and experimenting on rachni...  I mean, truth be damned, Cerberus made one hell of a bad impression in ME1.  Can you blame him/her?

I never really blamed them but at the same time I always figured the VS would at LEAST hear Shepard out on why he is working with them.

They listened but seemed to already have their mind made up about what they felt prior to him finishing his opening sentence.  THAT'S what I didn't like.

Yes, the whole scene was a bit rushed and herp-derpy.  Hence it sucking.  But I don't blame Kaishley for that any more than I blame Garrus for his calibrations.  There's a difference between character liability and writer oversight, methinks.

Ashley: Go put on that mini skirt and meet me at Flux sister! We are going to party!
Kaidan: [Chora’s Den] Seriously, you are here for the food? Come on my little freaky boy, let loose.
Liara: Thank you, thank you, thank you! Not crazy about Cerberus … but I’m even less crazy about being dead! So thank you! Anytime you need anything … just whistle sister!
Tali: Really, what do you look like? Isn’t there a way I can see your face without risking your health? Please?
Wrex: I love you! Not in a “shall we date” kinda icky way … but just a “good buddy” kinda way. I missed you not being on the Normandy, but I know that you are doing something important for your species. Proud of you!
Garrus: What the hell? Did you not learn anything from our last time together? If you weren’t my bud, I swear I would beat you senseless! But, it’s still good to see you my stubborn friend!
Joker: Okay, show me your music collection and I’ll show you mine.
Jack: Stay seated! You are going to watch "I Love Lucy" with me and love frickin’ Lucy!
Jacob: [Afterlife] Who’s turn to buy?
Grunt: Stay away from girls named Morinth.
Kasumi: Can you set up a camera in Miranda’s room? Aimed at the bed? I’d love you forever.
Mordin: Do you know any more tunes? “Oklahoma” maybe? Or how about a Gershwin or Porter tune?
Samara: So tell me about your wilder, younger days.
Zaeed: [Afterlife] Buy me a drink you crazy bastard!
Thane: Join Jacob, Zaeed, Garrus and me for drinks!
Miranda: Sooooooo, you ever play spin the bottle?
