It was good. I think we can all agree it's loosly (at best) ascociatted with Hawke, seems like a better task for our Warden commander. I like the feeling of "a very acient enity is avoiding my questions" (or lack-there of). Although Hawke has no reason to ask about the origins of the darkspawn; i was waiting for carver or Anders to jump in (to no aval). Maybe the architect was a tevinter/human (i thought the tevinter were human but Corypheus seemed to think the humans were slaves. Its strange to think that your companions don't believe in the golden kingdom, why else would a bunch of dragons (old gods) be buried in the ground. I mean you can see it when your in the fade, cleary tevinter mages found a way to it (eluvsian mirror anybody?). Strangley Corypheus seemed civil, I did not want to fight him but of course Hawkes options were basically 1: I want to use my mad diplomatic skills and make you a good guy. 2: Are you obsessed with me lol *sarcasm* LOLZOR 3: I've heard enough time to die. All three enrage the acient tevinter who calls his power forth from dumat, the dead archdemon of the first blight. Siggghh, I thought him and the Architect would make sweet love. Of course he clearly escapes and posseses the person you allied with and Hawke notices it but then is like "whatever". One question remains in my head.
If these tevinters-turned darkspawn were from what I gathered only slightly disfigured by reaching the golden city why didn't they just go back to their people and be like "hey! look what happened... that place is f'd up cuz of us". I understand they wanted to answer the call of the old gods, but once they created an archdemon why would they make broodmothers and rage against the world with a blight?
Also I find the segway into the dlc amusing; Varric being interviewed by the seeker. He's like "It's not important just family matters" by that I mean awakening an acient tevinter mage that caused the maker that you worship to reject humanity and start the blights.
