Everytime I check into the game, I have to reconnect to the EA Network thing. I didn't have to do that before. Any reason why I have to? I'm running Windows 7 if that helps.

Problem at EA's end. Nothing that can be done about it except for contacting their support and letting them know, and asking when it will be fixed.
Note that you dont have to actually connect once you have your DLC registered to your account. Disable auto login by going to Extras -> Options -> Online, and disabling the auto login.
