I just watched a Q&A session on Youtube that's a couple months old (I'm behind, so sue me ), and yet again, the decision to move on from Virmire Survivor after what many consider abandonment to swimming with the Cerberus sharks with just Garrus at that point (and Chakwas and Joker of course) is described as "cheating".

I am gravely concerned.  What if some of us consider Virmire Survivor leaving Shepard to tread water with the Cerberus sharks was the breach of trust and loyalty, and not the choice to find solace in someone else's arms?  Are we gonna get stuck with another round of herp derp responses to Virmire Survivor like many consider the Horizon encounter to be?

I am unsure where Liara stands on this... she seems okay with Shep moving on with the catch-up scene on the Normandya fter the end of LoTSB.  It gave me hope that my concerns may be unfounded, but since then I've pretty much only heard the upcoming conflict described as "cheating", my concern is renewed.
