i had this problem for a long time until i deleted the patch. now the game runs extremely smooth without any framerate drops and fixed a lot of the audio syncing. the patch made my game almost unbearable to play this game. now its amazing. i suggest trying this out if you have these problems.

Doesn't work for me either. Guess we're screwed. And yeah, we're forced to re-download the patch again. Good grief.
