I'm tired of the "femShep needs to have short hair or have it pulled back." I like long hair, and I like seeing it free.
The color of the hair didn't really matter to me although I would have prefered it to be brown.

But it doesn't look practical!

But meh, my femshep usually has her helmate on in fights so it doesn't matter. She can have her hair down on the normandy.

Why did they even have to change femshep anyway? couldn't they have  just used the default femshep they already had? she looked fine.

Sorry but not for me... I'm going for esthetics in pretty much everything and default FemShep was just ugly for me but it's only my personal opinion though.

The other pic that the OP wanted looks too emo. It's terrible and covers half her face.

Maybe they should take the blonde one, and apply different hair colors.. Blonde, red, brown and black, and see which one wins.

What I do not understand is why those who are " the absolutists of democracy " do not they want a poll to ask about that hair color to choose for 5 ?

Many people could have voted for the long hair. Why not be sure that it is because she is blonde that majority of votes are for her ?

Why to be so intransigent you the spokespersons of democracy ?

Because Bioware did a poll with specific candidates. What you vote is what you get. Simple. If you prefered another hair color, don't vote #5.

Oh, but I want #5 with balck hair, or red. They're not going to do it, because it will take forever to take all the suggestions into account and to change the winner. If we start making polls for if which color we prefer, then what makeup we prefer, then what nose shape we prefer, then what eye color we prefer, etc etc it will be a waste of time (and resources) and in the end everyone won't get what they voted for since there will be 1000 options and no one will be happy.

Everyone has their tastes and their opinion. But if you prefer redheaded people over blonde, don't vote #5 expecting that they'll change it.

To be fair asking for more polls seems another weak excuse for not saying you don't like the one is winning, nor can't accept it's the one the majority have voted for.

Many people voted for the 4, but at the same time seeking to remove the red Ache in her hair or no hair before her  eyes.. The presets that are presented, that  is not because they harvest the votes, they are considered as perfect.

First we vote for a basic profile of all we like. Then nothing prevents  to fix some things. I speak not necessairely of the blonde.

Simply, this intransigence is quite surprising. We can not please everyone, yes. But it's hard to know why you are so opposed to the resolution of another poll if it's decided that the // 5 will be the winner. It still will be her. And if the majority preferred the red hair.

Apparently just the color hair pose problems. I find the answers as " deal "with it", all but responding to a criterion of great democracy. The first vote was the choice of the preset. Nothing prevents to continue on the same preset. There is time.

I'm not too concerned with "practical." :D
If Miranda and Ashley cxan have longer hair, I want that too.

That might be interesting to see.
As long as they keep everything else the same and not shorten the hair like someone did in previous posts. That looks terrible too.

Is it really that big a deal? 80% of the players in ME2 made their own Shep anyway. All this vote was for is the promotional materials and default FemShep. I don't plan on having a default FemShep. Do you?

I've studied statistics enough to know that the blonde Shepard winning doesn't necessarily mean that those who voted for her wanted her to be blonde. Particularly since there was only one blonde option, and a redhead who almost didn't look like a redhead at all. The choice they gave us seems... limited. It could have certainly been better.

If some those who voted for FemShep #5 didn't pick her because she's blonde, they wanted her to win for another reason. Same difference.

Default maleshep and femsphep are totally better worked, obviously. If we can take several options, and do not touch the rest, I do not know what bothers you.

Hair style. If all the sheps had the same hair style as 5, but different hair colors, I bet number 5 would be on the bottom of the list.

I actually like the blonde Shepard. My sister is blonde and she is far from a Barbie. I voted for the blonde Shepard since i liked the hair(even if I would have prefered in brown since I'm a brunette)

How do you come to that conclusion?

Its clear people like blondes.  There isnt many in Mass Effect at all so thats why shes leading in part I feel.

She has 30,000 votes and around 3,000 comments and only a fraction of those comments say "I would have preferred another hair colour"

Blonde shep was the best choice out of the group we had children playing soldier, a hairdresser cosplayer, and Winona Rider clones so yeah blonde Joan of Arc was the best out of the lot. I can take her more seriously then any of the others BW thought would be candidates for the new look.

I'm glad your choice is shot down. We don't need a emo/hipster Shepard to promote Mass Effect.

I think all the femshep options were fine EXCEPT option 4 (your choice), that one was the only horrible and stupid option in my opinion.

I actually said numerous times that I would have voted for 5 no matter her hair color, what I like is her face. It's my opinion.

There were some threads about if we should be able to change the hair color of the candidates in-game and I said that I agreed.

Still I voted for 5 knowing they were probably not going to change anything about her, and that's what I want.

Intransigence could also be considered your attitude to refuse to admit what the majority have voted for, wich is #5, and that a great part of that majority voted her for how he is, that includes her face and hair color.

You can't change her because it will ****** off people who voted for her. As I said you vote what you get.

I find this topic really amusing. I always play custom Sheps, so regardless of how I voted (I voted for the blonde!), it doesn't really matter since I won't be playing her.

I see the pros and cons of the blonde Shepard but in all honestly it really isn’t that big of a deal.
It really is how you perceive the Shepard yourself, because in my opinion no matter her hair color Shepard is one hell of a badass, I’m looking forward to seeing the trailer.

But many apparently are willing to play it. So they can not be concerned ?

It is obvious that making this choice with a cosmetic facebook poll, lead people to be very interested. I do not see that there is surprising.

I really don’t understand the vitriol. BioWare went out of their way and allowed the fanbase to have some say as to what they want Femshep to look like...and people are whining about this?

People need to calm down, take a deep breath, and realize that not everyone is going to be ecstatic about the final result. Femshep-five is just as reasonable a selection as any of the others, and has been voted to top position for any of a multitude of reasons that vary from person to person*. She’s not cliché just because she’s blonde – real people are born blonde – this happens in real life, and the stereotypes grow tiresome. She doesn’t even have the most impractical haircut of the bunch, so cut her some slack. Personally, I think all of the options fail in providing a great depiction of Femshep; they’re all too young and too delicate and made up. Each and every one.

*In my case, because she’s the closest to my canon Femshep
