Seems like a lie to put this oversexualized hottie (all of them really) as the true Femshep in the trailer when ingame Femshep can never look like that. All ME3 has isbetter hair.

How 'bout you just concede that your statistics are completely made-up and that you don't actually have much knowledge to speak of regarding who exactly voted for her and why they did so? Your guesses are, in reality, very poorly educated.

They're actually not as far apart as the percentages suggest. There's 60 votes to keep it the same, and there's 11 + 26 + 5 + 4 = 46 that want it to be another color, and there's 4 people that don't care.Pulletlamer wrote...

To sum it up...
People voted for a blonde over all the non-blondes by a very large margin for no other reason than that the blonde is blonde. Therefore, those people are all racist. So we must hate blonde femshep, the poster girl for the neo-**** movement. The end.
A large percentage of the people voting for the blonde femshep stated that they were voting more for the hair style and less for the actual color.
Link / source or that didn't happen.
I like your percentages taken out from nowhere. Oh you asked every person and did the percentage? Doubt it.

Just found out about this poll, and I have to say: why is it on bloody Facebook? Bioware made a ME3 website, Bioware made this social network, why not use it? Boggles the mind.
And why not just go with the "default" female Shepard? These six don't look believable at all to me, considering that Shepard was a decorated veteran even at the start of the first game. They're too young, too "perfect". At least the "default" female Shepard doesn't look like a kid fresh from bootcamp.

You're right. People will continue to complain either way.

Huh. Apparently, I missed the memo that you can no longer customize the look of your female Shepard, and that her personality has undergone a sudden shift to accompany her default look. This is terrible! I can't play any of my other FemSheps anymore, since their existence has been erased by the emergence of default FemShep! Why, Bioware, why? Why have you crushed my dreams so?
...OK, seriously, I'll admit that I voted for #5, but I would have been perfectly happy with any of the others, too. I just liked her hairstyle a bit more (would've preferred red hair, but black would've been nice, too). Did a lot of people vote for #5 because they thought she was pretty? Probably, but what's inherently wrong with that? This was a popularity contest. In fact, what's wrong with FemShep being attractive? It's in no way related to whether or not she's a strong character or whether or not she kicks butt. Who knows, maybe it's just my own personal bias... since all of my blonde FemSheps are cold-hearted Renegades...

Well yeah I wanted black shep to win, but I knew she wasn't going to, but am I pissed that blondie won? Not at all! I think she looks pretty awesome. The point I think the OP was trying to make was that it's sad that it was so predictable from the get go. Blondes are usually the standard of beauty, which is why so many people are resentful towards her. Some just wanted something different.

22 pages of complaining about Fem!Shepard being blond?
Reaallyyyy? Wow. O_o
I mean...I have my own FemShep, so I couldn't care less about the look BW gives me for her. Also (while not ME but) my canon Warden is blond too and she seriously kicks ass.

You know, the funny thing is that after all of this is said and done, it looks like it's going to be a victory for male-female equality after all.
Really? If anything, this shows that maleshep is about substance, while femshep is about apperarance, hardly a triumph for gender equality.

The funny thing about the whole combat barbie as some like to call it is that these people act like any blonde Shepard that is created a different voice actresses will be used such as Paris Hilton ,different conversation choices where they will all sound like something a valley girl would say, different armor with a ton of skin and cleavage showing, and other changes.Rojahar wrote...
She's automatically "Combat Barbie" because she's blond? Funny that people accuse others of judging on looks and ignorantly shallow, when they assume all blondes are dumb superficial ditzes. Its not like Shep 5 has any more makeup than the other Sheps.

yeah because sheploo isn't based on a real life model or anything.

She has the best hair out of them as far as shape. I think it was unfair that they have three very short cuts and none of the more popular in game midway to the shoulder style. I like my Shep's to have messy hair, since they are constantly fighting. As for color, I like red or black, personally.
Blonde doesn't make much sense, as in the books, it's said that naturally blonde hair is all but gone, I guess Shep dyes it?
