It's kind of pointless to make a canon FemShep for the last game. It should of been done sooner, though with FemShep and the character creator we can at least have a few good looking options. It's hard as hell to make a non-canon MaleShep who doesn't look imbred or mentally challenged.

What are you on about? The blonde FemShep will be a new default (in addition to the previous one) available in game.

Personally I would have preferred FemShep #1. The one with the short black hair that sort of looks like Natalie Portman from V for Vendetta. However I am okay with Shep #5 because see reminds me more of a kickass version of Samus Aran. You know before the Other M destroy her. I also don't mind as much because Jenifer Hale did in fact voice Ms. Aran in the Metroid Prime series, so it is win win for me.

It strains credulity to think they're all either wearing contacts or were genetically engineered for eye-color.

Both notions are also a flat-out errors of fact that someone should have caught in editing and red-penned with extreme prejudice.

A. ) It's a mugshot... obviously. The woman has no bruises and her hair is typical mugshot flavor.

B.) It's funny how the mods removed it without undergoing any effort whatsoever to find out what it was.  How reassuring to know that anyone can just accuse another of something and accused is automatically guilty.  Think if I report that your post contains a terrorist code ordering an attack that they'll notify the FBI and have you arrested? Only one way to find out.

Wow that is crazy. I am glad i do not read PCgamer if that is the type of writters they have. It is pretty sad how angry and anti-blonde hair the writter is. She even posts a pic of #2 which has almost the exact same face the only difference is the hair.

I know right? And she says "vote for diversity! Not the blonde!", It's funny how she mentions diversity when the fact is: of the 6 pictures, 4 have black hair, one is blonde and the other is redheaded. So yeah, blonde it's not diversity right?...

And actually they do have slightly different faces, it's just from the pictures on Facebook it's hard to tell. Still, they have very similar facial structure, with small variations on the lips, nose, and makeup (and obviously skin tone and hair).

Here you have a gif comparing closeups of #4 and #6. They loook similar, but they have differences.

Just an FYI, the pictures are of 5 and 6, not 4 and 6. FemShep 4 was my personal choice.

Also, lol @ people who say blonde hair and blue eyes, one of the more rare things to find on a human, is boring and generic, and how Shepard should be more "diverse". (read: not white) Maybe consider what the word diverse means.

Take solace that you can still make Kumbaya Shepard as "diverse" as you want while you secretly seethe in your hilariously ironic racism.

Some facts:

1) Just because you're a girl and you don't like blondes, doesn't mean that there's not girls with other opinions.

2) Blonde is more unique than the others. In fact saying the blonde is not unique it's retarded, due to the fact that of the 6 candidates 4 have black hair.

3) It was a poll made so people voted the one they liked more. Pretty, hot or hawt, whatever you want to call it, the fact is people voted the one they liked best..

4) You don't have to play with her if you don't like, you can always make your custom Shepard. The official Femshep will be the default in-game and in the trailers/ CE cover etc.

5) You're being offensive to blonde people. If I ever meet someone like you IRL, it'll be a bad day for that person, since I have plenty of friends with blonde hair.

6) Don't generalize all female gamers and say it's a sad day for them. Just because you don't like blondes doesn't mean other girls or female gamers also don't. If anything it's a sad day for you. Which I'm happy about.

7) Quoting the PCGamer article just proves you're another anti-blonde yourself full of dumb stereotypes in your head. I won't even respond to the quote, it's just enough to say it doesn't make any sense and it's a mindless rant made by someone who hates blondes.

8) The fact that she is blonde doesn't mean she is less capable of being the main hero. That's just biased BS.
