Same here.  Well not the not having played femShep before part, but the wanting it in 1 and 2 part.  Definitely want that.

Always surprises me how heated these discussions get.

I chose #5 for the face more than anything else, was just more striking with a better defined jaw line. Not that fussed about hair colour, although I do like the style however impractical it is. Luckily for Shepard he's a 3D character with no actual vision to speak of and I guide him/her through the galaxy by looking over his/her shoulder.

Also quite liked 6 for her resemblance to Mia Wallace.

Edit: To the above poster; All 6 of them look young, I don't get why people always single out 5 when they all look to be the same age.

P.S Its also about time we stop calling her 5 and start calling her Shepard. She won by a country mile.

If I were to put an age on her, I'd say about 22-25, which isn't too far away from Shepard's 29-31 age. It's also a MySpace-angle, which makes her look more youthful than she'll probably do once she ships in the game. And why does she look like a contestant for a "Barely Legal" movie? Because she's attractive and has blonde hair? Puh-lease.

And apparently people didn't beg hard enough, since BarbieShep has won every vote by a landslide.

We are talking about 30.000 votes, the closest one being #4 with 12000. It's not like she's winning by 50 votes or something.

The majority wants #5. If you voted for another, we're sorry if you're butthurt...not.

It's what happens in democracy. Get over it. The world doesn't end just because #5 won.

I'm not bashing her haircolour, I'm bashing her face for being too young to get the feel she is a hardened N7 soldier, but that is just my opinion. I had by far selected the one above solely on facial features, not haircolour.

Very simply, a poor way to look for choices and VERY misleading. For whatever reason people are all falling over themselves about the hair colour when in fact in many cases the preference is for the hair style. I liked the blonde one because of the hairstyle, dark hair or red hair would have been just as good if not better but the hairstyle itself looked best.

(Also anyone using the term Barbie in these cases seemingly must call ALL blondes barbie because the hairstyle and body look is anything but barbie.)

Threads like this only show how big of babies some people can be if they do not get their way. I mean seriously some people need to stop crying because you are not forced to play which ever one wins since you can create your own Shepard anyways.

Also I and other people have already said that it's possible to look that young for Shepard, since around the ~2185, be sure people will live 150+ years and look younger. So they could all be around 30.

So yeah, you're basically whinning about the hair. The "she looks too young" comments are just weak excuses for not saying openly you hate her hair.

Trying to determine the general ratio of hair colours? This might help. A bit anyway.   (I prefer strawberry blonde myself, haven't seen it around much. I like how people are maoning their asses out that FemShep now looks like a barbie compleatly ignoring the fact that Sheploo is face modeled after a model.
