Hello and thanks for reading this post,

I recently installed, played, and beat ME2 using the Origin download. However, I bought the game on Impulse but used to registration key to download it from Origin because I thought that Impulse was giving me issues. The purchase on origin however included with it the registration key for the Cerberus Network package but the download on Origin didn't. If I also download Mass Effect 2 from Impulse (so that I can get the Cerberus registration key) will it effect my currenty copy of ME2? It is partly downloaded already, 33% or so, but I stopped it and downloaded it from Origin instead. I assume that I can just cancle the install and change where it is installed too so that it doesn't mess with my currenty ME2 or is that incorrect?

I have heard that origin automatically unlocks the dlc for you.  I don't know if this is true or not, so look here first...

and did the impulse give the key already??  If so use the key, otherwise I would contact EA-support if the dlc isn't already unlocked.

Yes, buying Mass Effect 2 on Origin unlocked the code for me automatically. I still had to go to that user_entitlements page of course and download/install each part, but it was already there --- no code inputting from me.

I appreciate the assistance. I found in one of my two email accounts, the one I didn't check, an email that contained the Cerberus activation key. I feel so newb, sorry, but thanks! When I downloaded from Origin it downloaded Cerberus with it but it needed the key still; now I've found it. (This is the second time recently I have made an uber noob mistake)
