This is always a big problem on BSN. When ever someone start a peaceful discussion, it only takes minutes to turn to a flame war. Everyday someone makes a troll thread. What the hell is the problem here. Sure not everyone will like every character, but these is no reason to hate a pixel character. In Mass Effect every character got some kind of flaw which is just natural because no one is perfect. If BW make totally perfect characters those will not be un-natural making the game less belivable. If you do hate some character, please tell me why you hate them and lets try to undestand each other. Discuss this respectfully and try not to fight.

This is a problem on every fan forum of anything, sport club, pop diva, comic superhero, video game, movies etc. Nothing unique to BSN

Well, this is kind of not Mass Effect related, so I think this will be closed eventually. You should start this discussion in the Off-Topic forum, it'll live a lot longer there. As to why the BSN is the way it is—it's human nature to disagree. And it's easier to spew hatred on the Internet than anywhere else, because of the anonymity and lack of consequences.

Every one has a different opinion, it's what makes us unique I suppose. I do wish more people would respect each other more though, and see that it's unfair to go into a thread and pointlessly bash a character, knowing it's going to upset some people.
