I'll throw in another vote for Crysis 2 and Far Cry 2. Two games with such potential let down by terrible execution. They have made me very very wary of buying any FPS's in future because I don't want to be sat there with that feeling of "It looked so much fun...how did it go so wrong? Did they even bother with the AI at all?"

Dragon Age 2. I had to.

Grand Theft Auto IV on PC. Seriously how is it possible for a console game to run better then a PC version? I haven't gone back to it so please don't say oh it's been fixed.

Homefront.... doesn't live up to any of the promises. Equipment in multiplayer is so expensive you'll be lucky to even see a tank much less buy one. Unblanced and overly in favor of Snipers, who make up more than 50% of all online Kills. And the SP game was so controlling you felt like you were along for the ride. Never mind JUST as it gets good its over. And at only 4 hours long, I felt justified in returning it the next day.

Ah well. New Version of Freedom Fighters my ass.

I'll just leave this list here:

Homefront- Overhyped Bore-Fest
Bullet Witch- Long repetitive gameplay, retardedly long make me want to commit suicide Final Boss
Sonic(2006)-Stupid clunky gameplay(Great Music though)
Dragon Age 2-self explanatory
Street Fighter 4/Super/Ultra/Omega..etc-All the version suck, put in easy shortcuts and is nothing like the far superior Third Strike.
Infinite Indiscovery- the biggest waste of 60 bucks spent, cliche anime arch-types and boring gameplay
Little Big Planet-(Sorry maybe its just me)but it got real boring after awhile.....puts on flame shield!

Other than that,I got to think of some more........

Star Ocean: The Last Hope - annoying cliche characters, very stupid ending, and kind of boring.

Ugh...I loathed Edge Maverick.  I have never hated the main protagonist in a game more than him.

Dark Cloud  -  Glitched, cliche characters...need I go on?  The sequel isn't so bad.

DragonQuest VIII  -  Like a fight scene on DBZ, it just never ends.  You just keep finding out that you just beat someone up who wasn't powered up all the way yet but is going to power up for real this time!  And they meant it...really they did!  No wait!  It'll be this next time for sure!  Surely this story can't be dragged out any longer, right?  Image IPB

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings: it's not like Cod, it doesn't play like Cod, it's not Cod 0/10

Mass Effect 2 - it's too HARRRRRDDD 0/10

Dragon Age Origins - Why are there no Guns in this game? so i can shoot bad guys!!!! no guns=**** 0/10
..........

:lol::lol::lol::P:P:P

Seriously though, here are a few:

Final Fantasy XIII - it already has been said in most of the lists here, but i'm gonna mention it anyway because it's one of the worse games i have ever played(nice graphics though)

Alpha Protocol - Horrible, buggy, Messy, Broken battle System, unbeliable AI, etc...
the only saving grace from this game is it's dialogue system, which is excellent, i hope OBSIDIAN does something good with it, and i hope other developers (specially BioWare and CDPR) can take notes from it and make the conversations and dialogues feel completely alive, rather than just stand there with a blank expresion while talking.

Dragon Age II - Do i need to say anything at this point?

Rogue Warrior -
Just S***ty

Halo 3 ODST - This "Game", that should be DLC, it's the very definition, of Overrated.

Killzone 2 - Incredible Graphics but that's about it, it gets very boring after a short period of time.

Star Wars Force Unleashed (1 and 2)
- Ugh, how long are they going to squeeze Star Wars?
Let it die already, stop butchering one of my favorite Film Franchises(the ORIGINAL trilogy, that is), it has gone too far.

Kane & Lynch 2 Dog Days - you probably have heard it a lot already, but i'm gonna say it again:
It's Dogs**t.

GTA IV- Unlikable characters, dull story and crappy gameplay.

Assassins Creed 2- Unlikeable characters, dull story, unnecessary repetitiveness and it took immersion breaking to new levels.

Both of which were £25, i have never hated games that cheap before.

L.A Noire- Repetitive, dull and poorly concived.

Fallout New Vegas- A buggy mess, made worse when you realise that all of the bugs were in FO3 and that TWO developers failed to fix the game engines flaws.

Tomb Raider Underworld- The second Tomb Raider game i bought (and most likley the last), just horrendously unfun.

Bioshock 2- It's Bioshock only now you dual-wield!

GTA IV: Felt like more of a tech demo than a game. Much too serious. Incredible engine and some fun bits, but overall just not a cohesive game.

Oblivion: Again, some fun bits, beautiful engine, but horrible VA, horrible combat, boring, not much of a main story. I did like Shivering Isles, however.

Halo: Reach: This game was so hyped, but it turned out to be...the exact same game as Halo 3, except worse. Blatant cash cow attempt. Multiplayer was near-ruined for Halo vets. The new battle rifle felt like an RNG weapon, did not reward skill at all. Maps too small, constantly spawn and insta killed. Armor abilites were unbalanced and rage-inducing.

Dragon Age Origins (xbox 360): I think this game is probably great on PC, but on the 360 it was awful. Hideous graphics, especially while indiside the Fade. Horrible combat controls and camera. The fixed camera view made the game basically unplayable from the tactical standpoint. Could not really control party members, and unable to tell WTF was going on because I couldn't zoom out. I wanted to play this game from a BG point of view, not a KoTOR point of view.

Funny enough I agree with your issues on all of these but still think they are good buys minus GTA 4.

Yeah thats why I like DA:2, Origns had all those problems listed on the 360. But still its not a bad game, I don't hate it and actully enjoyed playing it, but it had its faults. Mainly the pace. But like I've said many a time thats mainly as I started out RPGs with the Japanese games. Funny enough though I used to love turn based ones like FF7.  Now having played open world ones I prefer those mostly.

I also agree with the Spawning and clausterphobic nature of the games levels for the most. I remember one level where on Team vs Team a guy on the blue team just kept killing all of us with the banshee given how we spawned, and kept blowing our banshee up each time it came back. It took the whole team and alot of AR fire to bring him down, the DMR is also cheap. But firefight, and forge are pretty fun. But thats bad when the side is better than the main course. But my biggest beef is how it ruined the Canon, From Reach, to Ghosts of Onyx. And the fact Bungie wants to force rewrites of those two. Thankfully Microsoft might pull a "Split universe" stunt with it.

Oblivion, first time I picked it up I agree with you 100% I just could not stand playing it, and the VA acting should have been more robust and not limited to what 7 folks speaking for everyone? But with the DLC and just jumping into the side quests and just searching the world, makes it a far better title. Funny enough I had the Same issues with Fallout 3.

GTA 4. Full Agreement, I could'nt do CRAP in that game without **** jumping into a police chase. Ram tol booth on mistake "STOP FUGITIVE!" punch a wall display or person. "STOP FUGITIVE!" Finally get to exploring....*Phone call* LETS GO AND HANG OUT MAN! I just want to go around like I did in Vice City, have some fun see some cool stuff. It had neat and funny stuff. Too bad you end up running for half an hour or killing 30 cops each time to do it. Nevermind the damage system, etc. A few broken mechanics here and there. Why I like Saints Row 2 a hell of alot more...at least its "fun." I honestly think the last GTA game or expansion I liked Was Vice City.

And from what I've heard and seen, plus given the Demo. Duke Nukem forever....that just...I enjoyed the 64 games. This was just "Lets make Duke say funny things and throw poo, while copying COD's play and level style, and Halo's weapon system. They gave duke CPR, then smacked him with a mallet making him retarded, and cut out all the fun.  Hell even the OLD fotage of what was done in the bast looks head over heels a million times better. ****ty GFX effects by todays standards. But the play style with its oddities, fast pace, hidden zones, open area's and **** load of weapons, was Duke Nukem. In place we get frat jokes and boobs

Grand Theft Auto: IV.

Weak storyline, game mechanics, and it was no fun. Saints Row looks like it's the spirtual successor to the GTA series I knew on the PS3.

I am just saying my persona,l opinon here.

GTA IV was actually better than any other STA game actually. SO many similariities between the game and the real life. So I disagree with you on that mr.

Are you sure? because I think we're both playing different games here, the maps in Halo: Reach are NOT small like in other shooters.(I'm looking at you, Nuke Town!)

Come on. DA 2 is not as good as DAO but it is not bad at all and it is not a waste  of money at all. I have played it four times now and it is still good and apealing to me. Good graphic design, good chr esign and some other things but it has two weak points. Despite of being M rated, The romance scene`s are awefull and nothing mature actually and a 13 year old kid can easily watch it without having a bad effect on his/her mind. and second, Is the wweak armor design and lack of diffferent locations for the game. Beside these two, everything else was cool.

I agree on that Fiery. Beside all good mechanics in the game, the game sucks to me. Nothing interesting. No clear storyline, no clear chr esign and so many othewr weak points.

Saints Row 2. A shameless rip off of the old glory days of the GTA games. Terrible gameplay, graphics and humour. It represented everything that's generally reviled about the games industry as being nothing more than immature and crass murder simulators. All of this would have been fine if the game had some polish to it and the infantile dialogue had actually been witty. But as it stands it's just a game that seems to cater to the lowest common denominator.

That said, Saints Row The Third actually looks like it might right these wrongs. The game world looks a lot more immersive and the humour actually seems quite funny this time around i.e. a vehicle that swallows people then fires them out of a cannon into the stratosphere. Best of all they finally seem to be getting rid of that God awful gangster rapper element and replacing it with a slightly more flamboyant and eccentric type of gangster.

Saints Row 2 did have one good thing going for it though. It easily had the best character customisation in any game ever.

All games canbe worth buying for the right prices to right people, ranging from full retail of a great title to pennies and few pounds for bad ones.
