No, but Blizzard Activision is going out of their way to ruin the game. Also it's obviously not going to be worth playing when you can just buy everything in it from the get go.

*facepalm of "God, please kill me now, I can't take this ****ing stupidity anymore" x1000*

For ****'s sake, people, this ridiculously **** needs to stop! "Boohoo, it's going to be horrible! Boohoo, they ruined the game forever!"

At least wait until the game's release to **** about it.

I certainly don't see how you equate that to anything we've seen regarding Mass Effect 3, as for Dragon Age 3 - I didn't care much for the first one never played the second one and haven't heard anything about the third one so I can't really form an opinion.

Well based on what you have read/seen on Diablo III your saying the game will be bad. Based on what I have seen on ME3 I am saying it will be bad. Not that I mean it but to prove a point your saying it will be bad because of the AH. We all know Diablo III is going to sell more copies and probably set a record like every other Blizzard game people will **** and moan about it but Blizzard has always made great game. Frankly the only problem I see with them is their terrible DRM which honestly doesn't hurt me in anyway.

And wtf Pokemon snap is awesome!

Marvel vs Capcom 3. Unbalance gameplay, nothing special about the game, sh!tty online that never lets you connect to anybody. And when you do find a match it's Wolverine and Akuma Best Friends Forever, with the Game-breaking glass cannon that is Phoenix/Dark Phoenix as the Anchor. Not to mention that Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 will release 9 months after the first version of the game. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is 11 years old and is still a waaaay better game than MVC3.

I have to agree, but last time I played, granted the last time I played was before MK9, all I ever saw was DANTE.  God I hate Dante.

He was, but then people figured out Wolverine and Akuma make a near unbeatable team, and that Phoenix/Dark Phoenix can win the game by herself.

The way they are going they might as well just call this **** fable 4 and get it over with, it's not stupidity, it's the ability to put 2 and 2 together to get 4. Sure they might have decent gameplay but it most certainly will not be relatable to diablo in the slightest. At least Starcraft 2 was still a RTS-game, what's D3? A real life money-sink that'll support chinese child labour for the next 5-10 years.

Here's an calculated prediction on par with the one I've made about this game: The world won't end December 21st 2012.

I still can't understand why some people are obsessed with Catherine.

The answer you are looking for is "because it is Japanese" there are lots of people who will like ANY JRPG even if the story sucks and the gameplay is repetative and redundant. Oh and most of them require zero skill they just make it hard by making the game so cheap that the only way to beat it is to grind until you are some high level which also artificially increases game legnth.

I was under the impression that Cathrine was action adventure not rpg.

And some people play Japanese games because they want to play someting that isn't  just "yet more American ****e".

And it's a very good game maybe that has something to do with it.

yay we're not content with bashing actual good games (I swear I must be playing GTA IV enough to make up for all the haters) but we gotta bash on games that aren't even out yet?

Borderlands- They told me it was an RPG. OMG were they wrong! Bad shooting, 5 weapons, bad levels, no story, plot, boring grinding for no reason. The game is just boring and i didn't even finish it.

Demon Souls - Again, Grinding, no story, plot. I just felt depressed playing it, so i stopped.

Killzone 2 - Ruined the series, the 1st was so much better. Brown, boring characters, boring levels, brown, not much weapons, brown, clunky gameplay, brown, all the levels look the same, story so much of a step down from the 1st, all the same environment - brown, whereas the first had many different environments and colours.

Dragon Age 2 - Obvious reasons, been explained to death. Basically a massive dissapointment and step-down from Origins.

Pretty much every Call of Duty game.

CoD4: MW is one of the best games this generation; honestly i think everyone just hates it because it is popular, not on its own merits. The game has almost no drawbacks at all.

Its singleplayer is incredibly fun and engaging; its multiplayer is the reason why the new CoDs sell the way they do - It was incredibly fun (i cannot say the same for the new ones).

If you don't like CoD4 because you dislike shooters in general, fine. But don't say its a bad game, because it is not, and you are likely just trying to be hipster by hating the popular thing.

The problem with this thread is that the intent seems to be not what you dislike but what other people will dislike.
Games are highly subjective so it will depend on a lot to the person you are recommending to...
Sure, there are a few that are utterly terrible or fatally bugged and should be avoided by everyone but they are very rare.
The only such game I encountered was the first UK release of Overblood 2 which always froze during the second chapter. It was rereleased by a different publisher with this bug fixed..but still not a good game

There is no way Borderlands has bad shooting, IMO. No way. Those were some of the tightest controls I've ever experienced.
I do agree with the boring grinding part, but...
Borderlands is definitely a game worth playing. I appreciate it's unconventional tone. Setting's a little boring and unchanging, but their colors and design were spot on. Great side characters too, just completely underfleshed.

Bulletstorm however... I want to like it so very much but as someone said earlier, it just tries TOOOO hard.
Gah, it's annoying, reminding me of a bad nineties saturday morning (cartoon time) commercial, for like Gak! or Floam or something. Or maybe it reminds me of Double Dare.... like: YOOOUUU TOOOO CAN CRAWL THROUGH THE MAAAAAZE!!!!!! GO GO GO GO!!!!
And then there's that failure of a main character....looking like the twisted lovechild of Marcus Fenix, Glenn Danzig and that dude from Brutal legend.  Enough already devs.... we all dont want to be meaty husky beefhunks.
Shame really, as some of the gameplay stuff was kinda fun (but not fun enough to endure the cheese).

Ecco the dolphin- yes i'm STILL bitter about all the 9/10 reviews for that piece of crap.
DMC 4- Not a bad game but after playing DMC3 till my fingers bled i just found it too same-y and not as good.
Resident Evil 5- see above but with RE4.
Fallout:NV- erm...same again with Fallout 3
Duke Nukem forever- mediocre as a stand alone game, down right atrocious as the successor to DN3D.
FinalFantasy 11-14- When a game makes FFX-2 look like FF7 you know they're crap.
Any Silent hill/Red faction/tomb raider game after the 2nd one. TR:Anniversary doesn't count.

All Points Bulletin. Don't let the "free" status confuse you, it sucks. I can't believe that game once cost money to play.

It's a PS3 game what did you expect?
