I'm having trouble with textures (EDIT: ONLY HAPPENS WHEN IN COVERSATIONS)

see:
http://steamcommunit...hots?tab=public

the first set the heavy weapon twitches out. You cant see it but also looks like its stuck in some type of time distortion (lags)
The second set, the illusive man's ciggerette seems to disappear and come back.

my specs are:

  • Processor
    Intel® Core™ i5

  • Processor Speed
2.3GHz (with Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz)

  • Cache Memory
    3MB

    System Memory (RAM)
    4GB
    Type of Memory (RAM)
    DDR3

  • Hard Drive Type
    SATA (5400 rpm)

  • Graphics
    Intel® HD Graphics 3000
    Audio
    Intel® High Definition

    Operating System
    Windows 7 Home Premium

  • System Version
    64-bit

  • Graphics Chip
    Intel

    Graphics Card
    Intel® HD Graphics 3000

PS: on top of all that sometimes it seems to run fast but that doesn't bother me.

You aren't SUPPOSED to try to play ME2 with a tinker Toy instead of a real Video Graphics card. Intel is specifically excluded from official support because it is (officially, by Bioware) so awful. If that chipset is what you have, but it's in a normal desktop PC, go buy a real gaming card for it and really enjoy the game.

If it's in one of those silly looking Slimline type "desktop PC" enclosures, lots of problems there to discuss, but it can be upgraded to some extent. Laptops = no such upgrades. Sorry.

meh, I know my pc main purpose is not for dedicated gaming, though it runs some games great (portal, mass effect 1, etc) Mass effect 2 runs pretty smoothly, its only problem is the gun/cigarette thing is the only thing wrong with it. Other then that the game runs great.

Congrats you got lucky, but that isn't a supported card, and most intel cards result in CTDs. If you can upgrade then do so, if that is you want to game much. Otherwise you will just have to deal with minor issues when playing.

Yeah, I think I'm just gonna suck it up if I cant fix the problem. I'm not THAT into PC gaming.... yet. I ran the demo so I knew it would run otherwise I would not have bought it(didn't notice the glitch then though). Thanks though for the help so far.

Because they aren't designed for use as gaming systems, the ordinary PCs, especially various mobile devices, do not stand up to heat and stress well. Over time, continued overheating and overstressing is going to shorten the effective lifetime of the systems, some much more rapidly than others.

Generally, the most expensive parts in PCs are more than likely to outlast the time period in which they are working at their greatest efficiency by many years, so that there are twenty and even 25 year old PCs still running with their original components.

That was never true for mobile systems, but it was closer to true than will be the shortened lifetimes of mobiles misused by playing games on them when their design was intended to handle standard business and educational use.
