Something like this would be welcome. If we have the Dragon Age universe and the Mass Effect universe combined it would just be a total mess. But things like this ^ a simple easter egg which is a nod to Dragon Age would be fine with me.

Haha yeah thanks for pointing that out I had almost forgot that. And the ogre from Ksumis loyalty mission. I would like to see more of these easter eggs in ME3. But not to the extent of what the OP is suggesting. Just because Bioware could pull off doesn't mean it should be done...

i dont care to have ME3 be a flight simulator or an alien sex simulator, and i certainly dont need it to reference a game i dont care about. to me, itd be more of a slap in the face, because im not playing mass effect because i also play DA.

Considering what happened with DA2 I doubt you would want the Dragon Age team coming anywhere near ME3. Plus they are 2 different universes.

I was the first to joke around that the world of Dragon Age was an actual planet in the Mass Effect universe and that the reapers are really just Fade demons. 

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the whole "Thedas is just a planet in the Mass Effect-universe" joke has been around a whole lot longer than your topic. Heck, one of the bigger news sites (Gamespot, if memory serves me) even made an April Fools video of it last year.

Sci-fi in ME is just a window dressing. Sorry, but I can't see that kind of stuff showed in the game to be called ''hard sci-fi.'' It has sci-fi, but together with everything else in the game I just can't call it otherwise as space fantasy.

They've already done something like this - the darkspawn statue in Kasumi's loyalty mission.

I stared that thing for ages before realsing what the hell it was...out of context and no colour was obviously too much for my brain to process

Reapers are organic/technological mix. Darkspawn are organic.
