im only speculating,as are all of us here.I liked hawke..perhaps im in the minority,but he/she was an interesting character.i think a new protoganist will be better,but i wouldnt mind seeing merril again haha.

I would like to think that Morrigan, Zev or Ali from DAO will come back, but I doubt they will (at least as party members). Morrigan will certainly make an appearance, but I don't think she'll be on the team.
Cassandra's going to be on the team. For almost certain. There was a goddamn MOVIE about her.
I would like to see Finn back. That guy was ace. Him or Regalyan from the movie. (But I liked Finn more!)
A Tevinter Magister, and a blood mage too. Man, Tevinter is the coolest nation of Thedas (Tevinter and Antiva), and I would love to be besties with a magister. Just to spite broody little Fenris. (Perhaps an LI)
Cullen, because he deserves it after all this time of being a secondary character.
A chevalier, who is less *chivalrous* than first impressions. Leliana says they're the greatest, most talented knights of Orlais (where DA3 will probably be set), but we learn from some lady in the Denerim market that they can be monsters at heart. That seems like an interesting story. I would like that a great deal. (Perhaps an LI)
Someone from Antiva, because in Antiva the men are women, and free love reigns supreme! Perhaps one of the members of the extended Royal family! That would be a great contact for the Inquisitor! Perhaps a stuck up son of some noble, proficient in the art of fencing and duelling!
And most of all, COLE FROM ASUNDER!!! We need clearance on that guy's past! His character has been haunting me for a long while, and I need moar. Would be even better as an LI. Just sayin', Bioware. *Crosses fingers desperately*
