Other than that an enjoyable game with some good humor.

Gearbox forums. They are taking ideas from the community on how to improve Borderlands 2 UI and options and such. Really great and now I have to make a forum account for them.

They talked having more of a difference between weapons in the sequel, so that's a good thing. That really was one of the weak points. Too many similar items.

What's everyones thoughts on the updated classes in this game compared to the old ones, I think the new Siren and Assassin classes look very intriguing. Zero (or Zer0) as he's known can cloak as an assassin, and Maya can use a new Siren power which suspends people in mid-air a little bit like a singularity.

Just confirmed that Borderlands 2 will use Steamworks for DRM on both Physical and Digital PC copies.
Sweet.
In that case, I might order a four-pack for my friends.

My only complaint with Borderlands 1 and Steam is it kept reseting my custom tweaks and video settings whenever it auto updated.
But I had a blast playing it regardless.

I loved the first one, and I'm gonna play the crap out of the second!
Can we "end of line" all the baddies we meet?

Wow that is great. I wish Bioware could give a rats ass about ME3 PC version.

Obviously I'm pretty excited about the sequel. Supposedly guns are supposed to feel more varied now, and I'm really hoping that's true.
The gameplay videos are looking good so far.

I do love the visual style of the series, and loved the first one, but I still wish they'd add more customizable characters and 3rd person view. Yeah I know that's not going to happen.
edit: that Claptrap letter is priceless though. Will definately opt for the PC version. The original game is one of the few that I had on both PC and console, and its so much better with a mouse.

The gameplay videos I have seen so far don't give you an impression of how the skill trees work.

Well the PC version was able to to unlock a 3rd person mode with a "Borderlands tweaker" as long as I can do the same in Borderlands 2 I'll be good.
