my biggest issue with the first game was the weapons. SOOO MANY and being a hoarder I had to look at each one to see if its an upgrade. I switched weapons way too much and it started to annoy the crap out of me.
Other than that an enjoyable game with some good humor.

Borderlands 2 Hearts The PC <--- RPS article on how Gearbox wants the PC version to be better in the original.
Gearbox forums. They are taking ideas from the community on how to improve Borderlands 2 UI and options and such. Really great and now I have to make a forum account for them.

Big fan of Borderlands here. Played it and all the DLCs.

They talked having more of a difference between weapons in the sequel, so that's a good thing. That really was one of the weak points. Too many similar items.

Meh, Unless they changed the basic stuff from BL1 I'm not buying. I fully agree with Yahtzee on BL1. If it isn't as bad/boring as BL1 then I'll wait for the edition with all the DLC. Also the ending better not be a let down like BL1 and as easy. Every trailer needs dubstep now..

Very glad Borderlands 2 is indeed coming this year, another game I kinda can't wait to play in co-op.

What's everyones thoughts on the updated classes in this game compared to the old ones, I think the new Siren and Assassin classes look very intriguing. Zero (or Zer0) as he's known can cloak as an assassin, and Maya can use a new Siren power which suspends people in mid-air a little bit like a singularity.

Just confirmed that Borderlands 2 will use Steamworks for DRM on both Physical and Digital  PC copies.

Sweet.

In that case, I might order a four-pack for my friends.

My only complaint with Borderlands 1 and Steam is it kept reseting my custom tweaks and video settings whenever it auto updated.

But I had a blast playing it regardless.

I hope that the Ninja Zero guy actually wields his sword and has crazy slashes like Raiden in the new MSG4 ReVengeance trailers...I want a different play style than just jumping around with a long range gun+Scope.

Wow that is great. I wish Bioware could give a rats ass about ME3 PC version.

I never saw the original Borderlands coming. It had slipped under my radar and was later recommended to me. I did not quite realize that it was going to be one of my favorite games.

Obviously I'm pretty excited about the sequel. Supposedly guns are supposed to feel more varied now, and I'm really hoping that's true.

The gameplay videos are looking good so far.

I'm quite excited for this one. I found the first one highly entertaining and humorous so I hope that continues with more wub wub into the second one.

Sigh at the videos I found earlier tonight with unrelated music instead of game sounds or slideshows instead of actual video. I mean really, call it a screenshot slideshow if that's what it is.

The new classes aren't exciting me very much for whatever reason.

I do love the visual style of the series, and loved the first one, but I still wish they'd add more customizable characters and 3rd person view. Yeah I know that's not going to happen.

edit: that Claptrap letter is priceless though. Will definately opt for the PC version. The original game is one of the few that I had on both PC and console, and its so much better with a mouse.

I for one am excited about trying the new characters. I'm thinking we won't really know how good the new characters are until we try them.

The gameplay videos I have seen so far don't give you an impression of how the skill trees work.

Well the PC version was able to to unlock a 3rd person mode with a "Borderlands tweaker" as long as I can do the same in Borderlands 2 I'll be good.
