Best main hand weapons are probably Starfang, Keening Blade, or Spellweaver. Best off-hand Dagger is definitely Rose's Thorn.
Mages can't use Keening Blade.

So this is just the same as the Flaming and Frost weapons buff. hrmfff grrrrr. My plan seemed so good on paper.
