I'm trying to get at least one piece of the Commander's Plate armor set from the vault (chest containing Eamon's Shield) in Redcliffe Castle. I saved on the main floor, right in front of the stairs that lead to the upper floor.
I've reloaded this save 20 times easily, maybe 30. And I've had no success at looting a piece of the armor set.
Does this failure rate sound correct? How many times have you guys reloaded a save file to change the loot table in a chest or from a boss kill?

I lost count of the times I reloaded to get the Enchanter's Cowl in the mague origin (in your new room's chest), because I HATE the look of the apprentice and libertarian cowls, but I am certain it was more than 20-30, so do not despair.
(of course when I downloaded the Winter Forge, which lets you change the shape of any cowl, making all this trouble unnecessary, the damned cowl appeared at the very first try)
