Haven't seen a thread like that here, so let's go.
Mine would be:

1. Black Whirlwind
I'm really not a big fan of this 'senseless berserking' Character-Type (Grunt, ARGH!).
But Whirlwind is different. He has like the best dialogues ever, he is loyal and he isn't heartless after all. He has an interesting back-story which is quite tragic. I really felt pity for him when he had to kill what was left of his brother.
A total Bro, no matter if you are Open Palm or Closed Fist.

2. Deaths Hand
One of Bioware's best antagonists. First I thought he would just be a face-less Killing-Machine, but after discovering his history I was really flashed. I normaly free him though, it is really cruel to force him to stay with you.

3. Sagacious Zu
I always knew that there was something more behind him.
When he vanished I thought he betrayed me, but when he died for me I was very sad:crying:
Too bad he is no romance-option

4. Sky and Dawn Star
Can't decide.
Sky is a really great buddie with a
sad past and a very romantic lover, and Dawn Star is a strong woman
with a good heart  (and more important: She is not the typical *Weak,
sweet* girl like Aerie, Tali, Merrill etc)

5. Wild Flower/Ya Zhen/Chai Ka
Very good idea! And an inspiration for Anders in DAII;)

6. Kang
After Whirlwind the funniest Guy in the game:D

7. Henpecked Hou
I don't hate him, but I don't really care for him either.
A quite forced and boring char.
Only good Part is in combination with Whirlwind^^

8. The Princess
Only mate from JE I hate.
Such a stupid ****, bah.....

Not rated:

Zin Bu
His part was so small, it is ridiculous.

Abbot Song
He saved me and stuff, but his screentime was too little to make me care about him in any way.

Definately. Those two go at it like Lelianna and Morrigan in DA:O. In both cases you can encourage the fighting which is even more entertaining.

Silk Fox is actually quite a conflicted character that I enjoy talking to. She doesn't often let her softer side show, but when she does, it's obvious she doesn't even know who she is. That makes her fascinating as a character who normally manipulates everything around her and constantly tells everyone exactly who she is.

[Laamaa]

1. The princess - Don't ask me why, I just always carry her around with me x)
2. Wild Flower - Love the healing powers!
3. Death's Hand - I hardly ever keep him (as I normally free him) , but he is the most interesting character in the whole game for sure.

Dawn Star is better in that respect. She regenerates chi which you can use either to fuel abilities or healing (chi heal).

Ooh, this is a tough one! I love them all!
But I'd have to go with this order:

1. Sagacious Zu
2. Sky
3. Silk Fox/Sun Lian (very close behind Sky)
4. Death's Hand
5. Dawn Star
6. Kang the Mad
7. Wild Flower
8. Henpecked Hou
9. The Black Whirlwind

(Some of these are very close, it's hard for me to rank them.)
