Ok, I am not really posting a spoiler, just a thought to be considered.
During my playthrough of Dragon Age Origin, I killed Leiliana after I tainted the Ashes of Andraste with the Dragon's Blood. It was the first playthough I played through for Dragon Age 2, and at the end cinematic, I saw Leiliana talking to the Head Chantress.
I thought she was dead?

No she wasn't dead, she was just powering up lol. This thread should have gone in the story section, but basically they ignored you killing her or they will later provide an account of the magic tomb saving her.

Unfortunately that event only happens in the Ultimate Dragon Age Universe. DA 2 takes place in the 616 Dragon Age canon
