I've noticed the other day during one of my mage playthroughs that the Robes Of Unbellished Cleanliness(the chestpiece you buy from The Black Emporium) is more powerful than the champion chestpiece. I want to know if there are other armor pieces that I can find that are equal or better than the Mage Champion armor set.

If you list them, please point out where to find them. Thank you.

if you're on PC, there are some very nice mage armour sets on DANexus, some of which evolve with your character to eventually be better than the champion. Vanilla game, the only one better is "unblemished cleanliness"

You can however consider rogue gear as well and focus on crit% and crit dmg instead of elem dmg.

The Mage champion armor isn't very good. It has a lot of armor and stats that won't increase your DPS. From a pure DPS standpoint, the Robes of Unblemished Cleanliness and The Apostate's Mask (from Mage Pack DLC) are clear upgrades. The other two Champion pieces you may as well wear, since the other options (Gauntlets/Bloody Butcher's Gloves and Zoey's Battered Horde Kickers) have low armor or provide insignificant increases.

just a question, where do you find the champion helmet piece? some told me after you complete the quest "better served cold" is that for all classes? Warrior, Rogue, and Mage?

all classes find their champions armor pieces in the same locations.

Well, I didn't suppose that even the number and electron can "dream":lol::lol:. A mage can dream to wear a rogue's items just like a truck driver dreams to drive a spaceship!!!
