To better clarify, I am getting ready to buy the game and I don't know if I should buy it through steam or if I should buy an actual CD. I was concerned that maybe if running it through steam might cause some performance issues for my laptop.

Toshiba with Windows 7
AMD Turion II Dual-Core Mobile M500 2.20Ghz Processor.
3 GB RAM
32 bit operation system
AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 graphics card

It would be great for some help...>.> especially since I am not super knowledgable about steam or the nitty gritty details of computers.

Thank you!

You're playing on a weaker laptop so the game probalby won't run that well anyways.

Mobile CPUs and GPUs are always weaker than their desktop counterparts.

You MAY be able to play it on low settings, nothing higher though.

I would get the CD. I tried through steam first and it gave me all kinds of problem, when I logged into the game it says that the content was unauthorized. I spent several hours trying to fix it, never did get it to work. I read some other forums and most said if your buying on streaming to download it from origins instead.

I tried to get an answer or help from Steam and they never replied or were worried that the product I bought didn't work. I have played a lot of online gaming and PC games, but never had this sort of trouble before.

I went to Game Stop the next day bought the disk, loaded and played, was a happy camper.

I think you will be better off buying the CD it will be less aggravation.
