I'd like an entirely new character. No Hawke or Warden. If Avernus (or someone else) can cure the degeneration from the taint, I wouldn't mind hearing about it in the background.

Also, no more cameos from old characters. I'd rather stick with my head canon for the epilogue with some of these people.

A Dalish. I want to play as a Dalish. A Dalish mage. If I repeat "Dalish" enough times in this post then Bioware is bound to take notice...

That kind of... Sucks. I mean sometimes you need a bit of continuity, chopping and changing all of the time will wear me out. No point of really importing previous game data either. Quite disappointed in this tbh. I didnt like Hawke but i would like to continue atleast one protaginists story

@GreyWardenNathan: I feel as though Awakening was the Wardens DA2, and so maybe their will be an expansion to end Hawkes story, although im not DA2/Hawke's biggest fan, I still think an expansion set after DA2 and before DA3 to end Hawke's saga is better than a load of 2 hour DLC's set within DA2's timeline

I said I want to play my Hawke and I was well aware of his comment. So yeah...

I STILL want to play and control my Hawke in DA3.

A character that isn't too predefined.

And if we absoloutely must play as a character that is pre-defined like Hawke, with family and such, give us a real opportunity to develop that connection with their history and family. Rather than just having them there and expecting us to care about them.

I want Hawke and the Warden BOTH to be Companions. Not the main character, but I wanna load both games and get to keep both characters. I don't think it'll happen, but maybe Bioware will read my post and recognize my ideas as totally awesome and proceed to brainstorm on how to implement them.

I think there are a lot of good side characters in DAO and DA2 that would make good Companions. One that comes to mind is Connor... after DA2 he would be a young adult, perfect age. Some female qunari is also a definite must!

As for what character they actually are going to give us, I just hope their French accents aren't too horrible (or maybe we'll play a foreigner, fingers crossed). One of the things I least anticipate about Orlais is that everybody is going to have those hideous fake French accents.

A new protogonist, this is begining to worry me. Its looking too much like your generic: Final Fantasy RPG.  I hope they change there minds,and bring back hawke, or the warden. If Iwanted to play a new protagonist every game, I would play a cheaper RPG.

Well at the end i got the impression that we might see one or both of them again. The Warden and Hawke. When Leliana said just like the warden after they learned that hawke was nowhere to be found. So maybe that means that they will be companions OR there will be a story line involving flemeth and the two of them. Would be cool having something to do with flemeth and the warden or hawke, since they were both saved by her.

Honestly me the adventure of interest of the Grey Wardens with Stroud, I would like at least once to experience an epic story with the system from Dragon Age 2, a talking Grey Wardens, that would be fantastic, and then I want to move back with Hawke in the battle .
