Who do want to play as in DA3?

An Orlesian
Morrigan's son.
My Warden.
A seeker.

Might possibly end up being so.

The warden.
The warden is by far the PC I have enjoyed most in my 15 years of gaming. I felt as attached to my warden as I have in the past with the best of my tabletop RPG characters. That's quite an achivement for a game I think.

A new protagonist. There are many heroes in history. And history is/should be pretty big for the world of Thedas. Just makes sure that history is clear and not muddled up to confusion as DA2. IMO...
I don't know where DA3 will take me, but the setting should be interesting and a great ride for $60.
For me, Hawke, while I grew to love the character in its own way, was confusing because of how Varric narrated him/her. I love Varric, but unreliable narrator really rubs me the wrong way because sometimes I take things too seriously or literally. And I really hate being confused.
I knew nothing about Hawke's lineage while playing the game and I end up thinking how did he do that? Is he/her a god or something? Where did that power come from?
So I want a new protagonist at each Dragon Age sequel because the story, I think, should represent a different time era/event to describe the time dragon age and the world of Thedas in general. But make sure the protagonist is clearly defined in foundation.

I would like the warden, but that is not a problem. I wait(only in my dreams), to see a good game..again.
But nothing about the dragon age 2 characters....

OGB would be the most logical choice, however bioware would have to have some king of alternative for those that sacrificed themselves. The protaganist has been raised by Morrigan along with their special destiny being hammered into his/her head, the story begins with Morrigans mysterious death and the young hero sets out for what he/she is meant to accomplish along with finding answers but doubt gnaws at him/her.

Wouldn't mind it been Hawke again, seeing how Bioware said Hawke's the "most important person" in the DA universe and DA2's plot was not important, unless there is some extra DLC we haven't paid them for yet.
Otherwise the Warden isn't someone I'm really interested in playing again, not saying the warden is bad just not interested in playing that character again. OGB is obviously a no because it's not canon (though I won't be surprised if Gaider suddenly made him so). Perhaps a new character wouldn't be too bad, like a Seeker as some people suggested but how would you be a mage then? I don't think seekers are interested with mages in their ranks.

I for one would love to play as the Warden again instead of Hawke or a entirely new character.
Yes i would like to be my warden again. I think they are getting some one new for each game tho.. so I would like that character to have origin options and im hoping for either orlais or tevinter..and i would like to not be a human.
or my(the warden's) son that would be cool too.
