Difficult problem here:

1. I registered DAO and DA 2 with an email account that has now been closed.

2.EA Gets hacked and pulls this "new account" stunt. But I can't recreate my old account as I can't receive new password & login, as the e-mail is closed.

3.I contact EA to change my old account to an valid e-mail, but with the following result that all of my DAO + DA 2 DLC gets labeled as "Unathorized".......

I have tried to re download the DLC's and re install them, but still with the "unathorized" result.

What should I do? Any suggestions?

Are these new re-installs of the game, or are these old installs that have successfully authorized content with your old account before?

Are your all of your entitlements correctly transferred to this new account.

If so, are you able to log in successfully in-game? If you are able to log in and these are pre-existing installs that suthorized the content before, try removing your profile.dap file from the DAO and DA2 settings folders (don't delete, just copy and paste it someplace safe).  The game should recreate one with your new login information. and hopefully everything will authorize.

If cannot log in, make sure that your new password does not contain any special characters in it (only letters and numbers).  The EA servers do not support special characters.

If that does not resolve the problem, please provide the answers/results of the above.  Without that information it is difficult to figure out what to have you try.

I have removed and renamed the profile.dap files, but the DLC are still labeled unathorized and I can't play a saved game where they were active.

No special characters are used in either log in name or password,

Are these fresh installs, or old installs? Has anything changed with your system? Firewalls and routers can block the required ports making it impossible for the content to authorize. Finally, are you able to log in in-game? I am assuming not, but confirmation would help.

The game is old install, from back when the game was released. And I can log in, in game.

Has anything changed on your system? (You might try temporarily disabling your firewall and logging in to see if that helps)

Another possibility, if you are running Windows vista or 7. Back up your settings folder. Try right clicking on the files in your settings folder. Go to properties and then to restore previous version and see if there is a version of each file from when the DLC was authorized and restore those older versions. Disconnect from the internet so that the game cannot connect and de-authorized you. Load the game and see if your DLC is authorized. If so, simply set the game to not connect to the EA servers. This is a temporary solution as you will need to log in and authorize any new DLC.

Have you manually logged out of the game, and then manually logged back in?
