I might start on something this week, depending on the free time I have to spare. Nothing thus far, though.

I've never delved into Planescape (it never really interested me as a setting), but I'll contribute a little something.

I'll make some head-aligned VFX:
- tiefling horns (two short horns coming out of the forehead)
- fire hair (for those genasi critters?)

Oh that would be neat... you could do more than fire... there's Air, Water, and Earth Genasi too.

If you just wanted to make fire hair for its look then that's cool, but if anyone's into the genasi idea I have some ideas there. The thing is that genasi are not all alike within the same type, and there are para/quasi-elemental genasi too.

It could go like:

Flaming hair (fire genasi)
Smoke/dust hair (smoke, fire, earth genasi)
Lightning sparks (air, lightning, radiance genasi)
Focused Color Spray texture (radiance, and other uses like demiliches)
White cloud (Like the air elemental tails - air genasi)
Water drip (maybe the visual of cold damaging weapons)
Acid drip (ooze genasi - less common but hey)
A rock (literally, a craggy irregular rock that is placed "inside" the head so all you see are protrusions maybe on the side of the face and on the head in ridges - maybe a rocky and a crystal version for earth and mineral genasi)

Anyway, these are just ideas that I think would look cool in a planescape setting.

Once again I'm drawing a total blank on what to make this month. Uhhhhh... *blank stare at my monitor* Any images y'all would like sliced and diced into portraits? Or placeable sounds?

Wow, I just noticed this month marks the one year anniversary of the challenges. *Grand flourishy curtsey to Jez.* Thanks for starting off the fun, it sure has been a blast seeing what new content people come up with each month.

I've got a bunch of subrace and other race portraits I did a while back there are some genasi, githyanki, githzerai, and others in there as well. I could pull them out for this.

Thanks for the offer, but those are already on the Vault from well over a month ago.  That is probably stretching the "rules" a bit too far.  ;)

I'm procrastinating. Ok, not really, I'm just busy. And not being able to actually see emitters in gmax is a royal pain and a major time expenditure.

I'll likely send them in at about 11:59pm on Wednesday night.

So this morning was the deadline. *sleepy chuckles* Woohoo, I get to goof off this morning!

Here is the lcontent list for this month:
Birdman076 - Insignia icons - no files
Estelindis - githyanki stuff - no files
Helekanalaith - mysterious something (ohhhh!) - no files
The Amethyst Dragon - Head-aligned VFX - no files
Uncager - Sigil's tilset - no files

The next day I could work on the merge and demo is going to be Friday morning. If that doesn't work we are looking at Tues the 6th. If it goes past that, well... someone else will have to do the merge and demo as I'll either be out of town or have company until the 22nd. Lets shoot for Friday, shall we? If that isn't going to work, please let me know. =)

I'm sure they have great big horns somewhere in planescape. (Hey, this needs releasing somewhere, and if it saves your dignity that's only a bonus, rite?).

Hey, now.  I"m procrastinating here.  And the initial post says that the deadline is tomorrow (Sept. 1st). :P

I've actually got the horns and fire done (as of a couple days ago).  I just haven't wrapped them up into a nice single compressed file to email them.

...I totally managed to miss the fact that this morning was the deadline. Really sorry that my stuff wasn't done in time. Can always mail you an update later if I do finish it. Very, very sorry not to be able to offer something today, as I was waiting for this category for a long time. I'm just very, very busy and stressed at the minute.

Emailing now, after I remembered to take a few screenshots.  Here's the brief preview with a generic human male as the PC:

And yes, the fire does emit light. :)

The nonchalance of a man with his head on fire is truly awesome.

The flaming head VFX would be amusing on a model with no head at all.

*sheepish look*  So it is.  *Offers some chocolate from the 'touch my chocolate and DIE' shelf of the freezer.*

@Estelindis - Sure we can do an update afterwards.  Stressing over getting your paper done??

@Kalindor - *laughs*  Too funny!

As thanks for your work on organizing and compiling all this CCC stuff, here's something I came up with last night. It was used as a filling inside some chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream frosting, but I had a lot left over and ended up just plopping the rest on waxed paper and storing it in the fridge for snacking...

Peanut Butter Chocolate:

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 bag (12 oz.) milk chocolate chips

Place both ingredients in a bowl. Microwave for 20 seconds. Stir. Microwave 20 seconds more. Stir. Microwave 10-20 seconds. Stir until smooth.

Spoon or pipe onto waxed paper in small circles. Chill and store in refrigerator. Enjoy in moderation.

Could work with semi-sweet chips as well, depending on your preferred taste in chocolate.
